Two blocks from the centre and easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Well presented accommodation with a wet room style bathroom (shower only). Perfect for us with parking right outside. Outside picnic table but no screening from the street. Walkers on the pavement could see right in.

Great for a stop over on the way to Milford Sound. Very central location one block from the main street. The room size was adequate for the two of us and the facilities were very clean. Great to have the option of cooking as well.

Spent three nights. Clean, fully stocked kitchen, large bathroom, 2 leather recliners, day bed for third person, parking space in front of your room, own outdoor picnic table, lakefront. Compared to a $300++ a night lodging, it is a 3.5-4 star. For the value, it is a 5 star. "Cheaper sleeps, better eats". Also, the bed was the most comfortable...

This was my third stay at Lakefront Lodge. I will always stay here while in Te Anau. Friendly and helpful staff, sparkling clean rooms with lots of special touches. Great location near town very close to the lake. Great view of the lake from your own private picnic table on the patio next to scented lavender hedge. They don't offer...

Enjoyed our time here, convenient location. Good starting off point for visiting Milford Sound. Soaking tubs were large and nice. Kitchens were small with no ventilation - doors had to be kept open. Nice outdoor seating area. Small town within walking distance.

Drove down to this lovely small town at the end of Lake Te Anau from Queenstown to find this excellent 'motel'. Made very welcome and found my accommodation consisted of a lounge/kitchen a double bedded bedroom and a bathroom which included an very welcome 'spa' bath and shower. Everything is well appointed and furnishings clean and comfortable. The kitchen is...

Stayed 2 nights and the lodge had everything we wanted. Great location, all facilities and loved the free WiFi. Bathroom was very clean, but had very poor water pressure (Unit #9). Would definitely stay there again though.

We were very happy with our stay at Lakefront Lodge. Our room was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. As we were to arrive after the office closed, and to leave early the next morning before it reopened, we called ahead. The staff helped us with restaurant recommendations and to sort out the charges. They also opened the room, turned...

We enjoyed two nights at this little roadside motel. We were upgraded to a one bedroom apartment and were happy with the size of the room and all of the amenities provided. The manager was delightful and quite helpful in pointing out where to go in town for meals and shopping. There is a laundry machine right next to registration...

Lovely unit with many extra touch's which added to the comfort. The proprietors are very friendly and helpful and gave a tour of the unit when we arrived to ensure we were comfortable. Good location, close to lake and township.
