Forget about cheesy lakeside accommodation - this is the place to stay in Te Anau! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Win and Henrik took great pride in running this B&B farmstay. Our 2-bedroom apartment was spacious, cosy and immaculate. Win spared no effort in ensuring we were well taken care of - the kitchen and fridge... More

We spent 2days of nice stay in an amazing farm of Win. We can't believe we lived in such nice environment surrounding by mountains and farm's animals and the extremely fresh air that we can't imagine in our country. Win is a great hostess to get everything well prepared in the house as well as baking the muffin and bread... More

We were a group of 4 friends and had booked with Win directly for a 2-night stay at Dusky Ridges. The 2 bedroom apartment was very clean and homely, and we truly enjoyed our stay with the company of the farm animals. Thank you, Win, for the fabulous memories! We will be back again!

In an overly tourist- trod world, there are not many unique and genuine experiences to be found. I'm happy to say that Win and Henrik's warm and wonderful property is precisely such an experience. I liked it here more than at a $1,000 per night lodge near Queenstown, no joke! I read many of the previous glowing reviews, all which... More

We arrived in Te Anau and had to quickly find accommodation, this place was recommended by a local. We arrived at the farm stay and the host welcomed us with open arms, and treated us as if we were part of their family. We enjoyed a self cooked breakfast the next morning, where the host provided freshly baked bread and... More

Dusky Ridges was definitely the highlight of our Te Anau visit. It is located very close to town but is far enough away for a nice quiet farm stay. We got to stay in the separate Chalet house which was far beyond our expectations! We had a beautiful room with large windows, comfortable bed, kitchenette, and compact washing machine. We... More

We had an incredibly good time staying at the farm. We had the smallest accommodation (for 2 people) which is perfectly equipped for doing your own cooking. We also received some eggs, bacon and venison sausages from the hosts' own animals. It was one of the highlights from our month-long trip to NZ and we regularly think back to it.... More

Dusky Ridges was one of the highlights of our 10 day trip to NZ. I was fortunate to spend a significant birthday at the farm and Win was the most delightful and thoughtful hostess who baked a cake and made my birthday experience perfect. Win was patient with our excitable daughter and taught her about feeding the animals. The cottage... More

Stayed here as part of our honeymoon prior to doing the Routeburn Track. The facilities are absolutely perfect, the hosts very welcoming and the setting is incredible. Amazing breakfast foods with facilities to cook your own dinner and even do laundry. It's extremely close to town (<5 minute drive) and yet it feels remote. Can't recommend it more for a... More

I couldn't believe this place. Absolutely incredible. It has everything. It is modern, luxurious and surrounded by amazing scenery. They offer farm tours too which is nice. Washing machine, clothesline, dish drawer, living/dining area and 2 beautiful bedrooms with huge beds. Lovely bathroom. Freshly baked bread, bacon, eggs, venison sausage, muesli, juice, coffee, freshly baked treats, chocolate all waiting upon... More
