We stayed 3 nights and really loved this hotel. It is walkable to restaurants and activities but the neighborhood is quiet at night. Our room was very comfortable with nice views of the Skyline gondola. Breakfast was fantastic every morning- they offer a nice range of healthy fruits and cereals as well as several cooked options that were always delicious. The evening happy hour and canapés was a nice walk to get to know the other guests as well as the staff (and a nice way to sample some local wines and beers). The staff were amazingly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay - especially Anouk, Fran, and Paula. We would definitely stay here again!
My girlfriend (now fiance) and I have travelled the world and stayed at numerous hotels. This hotel and especially the staff really set this hotel apart from any experience we've ever had on any travels we've had to date. They set the new gold standard for what we consider service excellence. First, the hotel - it is very situated, located within easy walking distance of downtown Queenstown - tis literally 5min to all downtown bits. It is also withing walking distance for a couple hikes - Queenstown Hill and Ben Lomond. The hotel has a small underground carpark with a little lift to carry you and your stuff up to the main level. Second - the rooms - we had a regular little room, they are well appointed, modern and had all the mod cons for a stay including a little fridge, burner, etc. Great for storing your bits and pieces. The view out was nice, had a little balcony that looked out towards the gondolas. The suites are really nice and if you're able to, I'd recommend upgrading to those, especially if you're staying for a period of time. There is much more space and the views are really nice of the local park + the Remarkables mountain range. Third - the breakfasts - superb! freshest ingredients used - the cooks are amazing - Lia and Andrew get BIG shout-outs for the incredible breakfasts made. Not only can you order a la carte they also would make their own breakfasts for you (if you ask them) - they are creative and so delicious. The breakfast staff were super friendly and will do anything to make sure you enjoy your meal. Talk about staff - this is what really sets this place apart. All the staff were amazing, friendly and genuinely wanted to know about you and your trip. They made sure your trip was good and would make calls to ensure everything was set and in order. Fran - the general manager was incredible as a host. He truly looks after the guests and the hotel and this was evident through the staff interactions as well as the way the hotel was run. Every evening, the hotel hosts a canape and drinks social hour. Great little nibbles with a selection of wines and beers to drink. The food was delicious and it was a great way to meet hotel staff as well as other folks staying at the hotel. I found this hotel through Trip Advisor - I want to pay you guys back (thank you!!), this hotel is truly the best hotel we've stayed at and can't recommend it high enough. When we come back to Queenstown, we'll definitely stay here again. Thank you Fran, Lia, Andrew and all the staff at Queenstown Park Boutique hotel, you made the trip very special for us.…
The room and mini kitchen here were ideal, very comprehensive with a lovely en-suite with glass roof! Lovely place to stay, very central and the only downside is that there is a pavement / road that runs right past the balconies and that can be a little noisy. That said, it wouldn’t put me off staying here again.
We cannot say enough about our January 2020 visit to Queenstown and our stay at this Queenstown boutique hotel. Attentive service by EVERYONE employed here, reception, breakfast, afternoon wine and appetizers etc. every day we were helped by everyone with a genuine smile and courtesy. It is located within a five minute walk to restaurants, harbor and recreation events. Includes free parking if you drive as we do for almost all of our travels. At this moment i can almost guarantee a pleasant stay with the hospitality you will receive. Btw we stayed four nights.
The room was elegant, spacious and had its own kitchenette. The helpful staff were very attentive to make sure we have a comfortable stay as well as with all the customers. The canape hour was such a delight! The breakfast was great. I got the chance to have a hike at Queenstown Hill. A lovely and relaxing adventure from a heavy workload home. You will surely love staying here.
