We stayed one night, place was very quite and very clean and warm. Walking distance to the town ship. We had a room with a very beautiful view. I must say Room 5 has a view and also we were able to walk to most activities.

We stayed 3 nights and have no complaints, the room was clean and spacious and we had a balcony at the back so we could sit outside. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom well appointed and clean. Minor niggle would be the car park, not the easiest to get into and certainly not the biggest, but when we arrived it was empty and we didn't use the car until we left, so no issue. We did notice a room by the washing machine room, not sure of its number but i think it would be a room of last resort.

You are very close to town with a good hill to climb at the end of the day. The views from some rooms are spectacular. The rooms are clean. Good shower pressure. Bed is tired and rolls around (on wheels - no headboard). It's small but adequate with a balcony and an awesome view. Service is excellent - very friendly and very helpful. The room is very clean but a bit tired. Our room was VERY quiet. Did not hear any neighbours nor traffic. Awesome! You can get cheaper but you lose the view and/ or the proximity to town.

We stayed in Room 10 and it was great. Location was perfect for walking. We did not have a “view” but didn’t stay in the room long enough to care. Too much to do in town. Beds were very nice as were the pillows.

We stayed at Caples Court for 2 nights as a family of 3 back in January. Mary at the front desk was lovely which is a definite positive but things went downhill from there. The location itself is great but unfortunately I think we drew the short straw with room number 10. It was like staying in somebody’s dark, dingy basement & is located behind the communal washing line & the ridiculously tiny car park. The view was out onto all the other basements in the neighbouring apartments, which was disappointing. We didn’t have a lot of privacy in room 10 either so my suggestion would be to try for another room. The room itself had everything we needed, including a lovely clean bathroom but the living space was absolutely tiny. Luckily we didn’t want to cook as Mary informed us that the people before us had burnt the electric frying pan & she hadn’t got a new one yet. We couldn’t possibly fit 3 suitcases anywhere so had to lay them all out in the living area, which meant there was nowhere to sit or even walk. When we first arrived we noticed that there were no towels, so after seeing Mary we were told she would have them to us in about 40 minutes. It was right on dinner time when they did eventually arrive 2 HOURS LATER & with no apology at all. Next Mary’s husband turned up at our door, didn’t introduce himself or explain what he was doing but just asked if he could take a photo of our toilet. Obviously it was something to do with the green coloured crack in the seat but it would have been nice for him to at least attempt to introduce himself & explain the situation. Not sure why he didn’t just do it before we arrived as we didn’t even check in until about 4pm. The next afternoon we got another knock on the door by Mary who explained that there had been a booking mix up in another room & could we move all our things out of the way so she could rearrange the bedroom to get a mattress from under one of the beds. My husband spent 20 minutes trying to help her pull it out of the tiny space we had. Eventually she went & got her son who stomped in & eventually extracted the mattress. Our visit here could only be described as strange. It was like staying in an Airbnb but without the reasonable price tag. Now I know Queenstown is a tourist town so I absolutely understand the overpriced accommodation situation but at more than $350 per night I really would have expected more.
