We went on our honeymoon to New Zealand. We stayed at this gorgeous hotel for several day and we lived it. The rooms are beautiful and the staff is great. Breakfast was excellent . The concierge did everything he could to make us happy and he was defenetly a problem solver. Our helicopter tour was cacelled so he said not... More

The hotel is located right in the centre of town which means that a huge selection of shops, restaurants and activities is just a short stroll away. Reception is elegant and checking in and out is swift. We enjoyed the sumptuous breakfast every morning - excellent quality and wonderful service; nothing is too much trouble for the friendly staff.. Such a beautiful hotel, ahh the luxury of laying in the double spa bath and watching a movie! But oohhhh dear, we're above the restaurant :( Chairs scraping till all hours, loud music till 5am...... so tired the next day. Wandered down to reception at 5am, finally, couldn't take it any longer. The music was turned down, but the cleaners... More

I travel to Queenstown regularly for work and have stayed at most of the main hotels in town. The Sofitel is by far the best. There is something unique about the experience and service at this hotel. Every staff member seems pleased to be there, a fair few of them are French (which is quite nice being the Sofitel) and... More

It was always nice coming into a beautiful warm room after a day out in the cold. The bed was very comfortable, as were all the other facilities. The view from the balcony was great, with an overview of the town and the mountain behind. The breakfast options were very nice too.

A first class hotel quite comparable with Corinthia, :London or Sofitel St James London. I did not expect to find a hotel of this standard in a country town in New Zealand. Excellent people, rooms, excellent food and service. Staff were welcoming, efficient, capable, smiling and were able to deliver a great standard. Normally travel on business a lot but... More

Lovely hotel, and whilst there were extensive renovations going on the staff were flexible and accommodating in working around that. Gym facilities are excellent and the service very attentive. You could hear a bit of outside noise when in your room but in the main that was fine. Great location within town too making access to all Queenstown has to... More

My husband and I had a pleasant stay in Sofitel Queenstown. Staff at the reception were very helpful and accommodating. Our room was amazing. We did not have the best view but it was totally ok since we were always out. Loved the Nespresso machine in the room. I hope they had complimentary bottled water though. Our breakfast buffet was... Offering a boutique experience this is a classy hotel in an excellent location. Highly professional and friendly international staff assist across the board. Very good in-house restaurant which "becomes French" in the evening. Definitely a place to return to.
