Stayed here as apart of a Contiki group so not sure about the value of the hotel, although it was nice place to stay at. Rooms were great and the views are amazing. Reception were always helpful. Is about a 5 minute cab ride into town and most cab drivers agreed to a $14 fare. Not really walking distance to... More

The room was quite nice - clean and comfortable and the price was reasonable. It was pretty full the night we were there and there weren't enough parking spaces available for all of the cars and buses. There's a great view from the restaurant but the breakfast was atrocious. It's a bit of a hike into the township but worth... More

We had dinner so couldn't appreciate the view (which I hear is nice) but if you want the view, I'd recommend only buy a drink, not a meal. The food was overpriced and not particularly satisfying. The pasta special was something a 6 year old could have made and was still $25! Also, if you're planning to stay here I'd... More

The lake view rooms have what is possibility the best view after the gondola. The staff are friendly. Good wifi. The restaurant has a great view over the lake, when we went there it looked closed no one was in the restaurant just a few people in the bar. Don't let that put you off the food was lovely and... This was the most reasonable priced accom we could find close to town at late notice. The view of the remarkables from our room was stunning. Short drive from city. It's a bit old. Has no lift. Average shower but generally a comfortable stay and a nice room.

Stayed there for 2 night. Great location , not too far from the city. Beautiful view from the breakfast place / bar. Room is ok but clean. The only disappointing thing was the shower which I think it's very important especially it was winter when we were there and after spending a whole day skiing. The shower head pressure was... More

Had a room with a view of lake and a balcony - Absolutely stunning outlook and absolutely beautiful. Weather wasn't perfect but view was amazing. Pics attached from room. Very helpful staff, really nice friendly. Restaurant had an epic view too. Highly recommend. Point to note - it is up hill so would need car/taxi/uber to get to and from.... More

The views from this hotel are great! I stayed here as part of a contiki tour so I can't really speak to the price/affordability but it was nice. The location was good because it was away from the hustle and bustle but if you wanted to walk it was a nice downhill walk to town. Also there's a bus that... More

Stayed for 7 nights in Room 429, a Deluxe Room with Lake Views, from 8 March 2016 to 24 March 2016. After long , long Flight, the immediate views of the Lake and Mountains refreshed us and were stunning, both from our Room and Restaurant. Even better each morning at Dawn, with the Sunrise continually changing the colours of the... More

Looking for somewhere close to town we found this place, only the further the navman took us the more we giggled. It certainly is a drive and up a very steep hill. You will not want a glass or two in town and expect to walk there. the room was clean and suited what we needed, however the house keepers... More
