My husband and I stayed here for one night before our flight. It was just lovely and the staff were wonderful! Comfortable and cosy room with Antipodes bath products and complimentary mini bar with snacks. Happy hour with wine at 5pm and all day access to the lounge with tea coffee with oat milk and soy and candy bar. Continental Breakfast included was more than ample with a generous selection. The staff were so kind. It was freezing on the day we were leaving and we went back to collect our car and were welcomed to come in and have our lunch in the warm lounge before our flight. Not the cheapest option but walking distance location to everything! Thanks for a great stay!

We had the best 4 night stay here!! Can’t wait to come back! Comfortable bed, clean rooms, and lovely friendly and helpful staff!! Interior design is gorgeous! Retro and so different, but also warm and inviting. Happy hour was lots of fun meeting other people. And also the candy bar was fab! Very central location. Also, cafe across road very handy! You will love staying here!

The Dairy Private Hotel was our choice for the second week of our stay in Queenstown. From the moment we walked in we were met with warm and friendly staff. The hotel itself was inviting, intimate and just beautifully quirky (loved all the beautiful wallpaper!) The guest sitting room was really comfortable and the warm fire at happy hour was lovely. A special thanks to Sasha, Evelyn and Barbara who went that extra mile to make our stay special. Also fantastic location … minutes walk from all the highlights of Queenstown. Thank you!

This is a very stylish establishment with a quiet and perfect central location in Queenstown. The lounge area is cosy with a log fire and happy hour drinks and snacks. Nice continental breakfast. Our room had mountain views and a very comfortable bed. Highly recommended.

This is a "boutique" hotel: therefore, it charges more. Question is, does the extra represent value to the user or the owners? On the plus side: great location, daily room servicing, free happy hour daily, reasonable breakfast (extra $ sometimes!), good internet connection. Great shower, and super friendly staff. On the minus side: very limited parking (nearby, but more cost), tired bathroom, no exercise room and if you use the jacuzzi, be prepared for the chlorine foam on top. Would I stay there again? Probably. Just for the funky carpet and wallpapers!

Kia ora, Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us! We're glad to hear you had a good overall experience at our "boutique" hotel! We get it—boutique hotels can charge a bit more, but we always aim to provide value for our awesome guests like you! It's great to know that you enjoyed the perks of our great location, daily room servicing, and the free happy hour—always a good time, right? 😉 Our friendly team is here to make sure you have an awesome stay, and we're stoked that you found them super friendly. We do understand the drawback of being so centrally located means parking can be tricky and thus we offer the limited available spots free of charge on first come first served basis. Ah, the funky carpet and wallpapers—we love those too! 😄 If you decide to visit us again, we'll be here with open arms, ready to welcome you back! Take care and keep exploring new funky spots! The Dairy Hotel totally lived up to expectations. My room was lovely and cosy, the location was excellent and the inclusion of free sweets and soft drinks, as well the happy hour free evening drinks and snacks was a lovely touch. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. I had the misfortune of injuring my knee skiing, and they went out of their way to shuffle bookings to move me to a ground floor room. Would definately return to the hotel and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to family and friends.

Amazing little hotel, minutes walk outside the centre of the queens town and to gondola. Awesome and helpful staff. Amazing experience, happy hour daily and complimentary mini bar and snacks during the day in the lounge. Feels like you’re welcome and wanted and not like a number when staying in larger motels.
