We stayed at the Pinewood Lodge for 3 nights in a self contained unit with kitchen, bedroom & bathroom. Very comfortable and clean and a good location, not far from shops and the town centre. There was a guest laundry with plenty of washers, dryers plus ironing facilities. Very popular place for backpackers so plenty of youngsters from many corners of...

meh! Staff were nice but as basic and in need of modernisation as it gets. Location is pretty good - walking distance. If you just need somewhere to rest your head, perfectly acceptable and one of the cheaper options in Queenstown. Personally I'd go for an air bnb instead of this.

I stayed in a Pinewood lodge building for 6 weeks. It was one of the buildings that holds 12 people. Staff did basic cleaning and the rest was left to us which worked well. There was a hot tub anyone could use, good facilities and people where friendly. Class stay all in

It's a nice place. Clean and comfortable. It's huge and provide many services as lundry, furniture and everything that you need for stay few nice days traveling around south island of NZ. It's close to the town and easy to arrive by walk from the city center. You also have a put there.

The Pinewood lodge was ok. It was clean but the shower was not the best. The common rooms are good especially because the tv in my room didn't work at all. Wifi sucked but that's the same all over Queenstown. Location is a bit out of downtown but you are like three minutes from the gondola. The biggest negative is...

I was in a one bedroom suite with private bathroom, in a newer area. I was very pleased with the accommodations, considering the different reviews. My 90+ year old Mom and I arrived after the office closed so it was dark when I tried to find our room. The great part about this place is the guests. Since the guests...

I don't know what all of the good reviews are about. We booked one bedroom in a 3 bedroom cabin for three nights and didn't get one nights sleep. The walls were so thin you could hear the people in the cabin next door use the microwave. The floorboards are so loud if someone walks next door you can hear...

just stayed 3 terrible nights at this place- feels like its stuck in 1970 - hideous decor in very scruffy condition and our room stunk! some noisey plumbing in the wall would have kept us awake but we were already awake from the slamming doors and crashing about from our fellow guests! It felt dirty - only suitable for drunk...

We stayed here as Queenstown was busy. Initially I was put off by the backpacker image but we stayed in an en-suite room and we had a good room with comfortable beds and good shower. We had no problem with any noise as i am a light sleeper. I think it is luck as you can stay in a 5...
