I came on my own for a weekend away and absolutely loved this hotel. The decor is alpine charm with a modern sophistication and cozy vibe. The room had amazing views over the lake and was nicely appointed and spacious. The bed was comfy and the bathroom very clean with nice amenities. The gym was well stocked with good equipment....

Hotel St Moritz is on one of the many hills that make up the topography of Queenstown in New Zealand's south island. If you book early, there is a good chance of scoring a room with a gob-smacking view. We left it too late - which meant a 'Garden View' room several floors below the street-level reception area. However, the...

Really enjoyed the hotel. We were disappointed with the first room we were provided but the hotel was able to move us to a much better room. Hotel is a short walk from everything in Queenstown wish we could have stayed longer.

We had three separate stays here over a nine day period. We chose this hotel as we wanted comfort, good food and a a good nights sleep as we were travelling between walking trips. The first night was terrible we were in rooms 305 and 307 and our fellow travellers were on the same floor. This level is directly below...

If you are looking for a hotel in the quieter part of Queenstown, the is certainly the place you're looking for. Excellent rooms, great views and good food. What else do you need? A good glass of wine and friendly staff. Perfect as they have that too! Only 5 minutes walk to the harbour and the gondola. Highly recommended!

This is a pretty expensive hotel but in my view the service level is unpolished. Firstly starting with rooms, they look newly refurbished and are indeed nicely finished, liked the bathrooms and especially the shower. There are no safes in the room which I'd expect in a hotel of this standard although there are safes at reception. The staff are...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 6 days. The views of the lake are breathtaking, the food is excellent, the location is perfect for strolling into town or along the lakeshore in any direction, and the staff is both polite and helpful.

We ended our four week trip to New Zealand with a three night stay at St Moritz and what a fabulous ending to an amazing holiday. For two nights we had beautiful views across the lake and an enormous room with separate bedroom and lounge. The restaurant is so good we ate there for three nights we were there...the views...

beautiful older hotel suggestive of Swiss chalets, with great views if you get a room with a view - we did not despite booking the hotel at least 4 months in advance. Sam the manager went out of his way to help us with making plans for the area and booking tours. When we complained about the room lacking a...

This is the 3rd 5-star hotel we have stayed in at Queenstown and is far superior than the other two. The main point of difference I put down to is that this hotel is part of a global brand and therefore truly an international hotel where the other two were not. We stayed 4 nights and found the service to...
