We didn't want to leave!!! We stayed here four nights during our trip around the south island and had the most amazing time - thank you to the staff for amazing customer service and making our stay so memorable. The room had a stunning view of the lake and mountains, we were on the highest level (4) as per my...

We booked via hotel.com - got a good rate for a Queenstown hotel for a one night stay for family of four. About a 15 minute walk into the centre (beware there is a steep hill but also a public bus service if required). Good sized family room in super clean condition. Reception staff were very helpful and we had...

Family of 4 (both kids <8 yrs); three days in Queenstown as part of a January holiday. The hotel is just off the main streets of Queenstown (which means less congestion and noise) but still very close to the hustle and bustle (and food options!) Pros: Front desk service friendly; modern, well furnished room, decent on-site breakfast options; treated the...

Queenstown is all about the views, the scenery, the outdoor adventures and the great food and wine scene. There is no need to spend extensive time at a resort in Queenstown - if you are, you are missing out on what Queenstown has to offer. The hotel is there as a place to rest your head each night so you...

Great location, amazing views and nice rooms. I loved the hotel. I would like to thank Hotel Manager Mr. Bapat for his help and support to make our first stay on our trip to NZ relaxing. Friendly staff. Loved everything about this hotel including quality of room, eating breakfast infront of one of the most beautiful Lake Wakatipu. Just go...

We were charged twice for our one night stay, when we raised this over the phone it was denied and we were made out to be lying. Eventually after talking to various people over a few hours the matter was resolved although they refused to refund the overseas bank charge that accrued from the incorrect payment. They have a great...

The only downside is the quality of breakfast. Surprisingly, the quality of breakfast is nowhere near Mercure Auckland. Limited or no fresh fruits and vegetables. Ample parking is an added advantage. Overall it is good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful location. The hotel is uniquely perched over Lake Wakatipu with unencumbered views of the Remarkables. It's a 10-15 minute walk outside of town, but the walking path is very scenic. There's the option of the city bus which stops right out front of the hotel. Plenty of taxis, too. Wish we stayed...

We've stayed 3 nights in the Mercure in Queenstown. The property is somehow dated. Food in the restaurants is mediocre. On the positive side, they offer fast internet, great views if you have a room facing the lake and very friendly staff. Overall nothing to write home about but also not a bad choice.
