this is without doubt the worst accommodation we have ever stayed. I am astounded at the good and excellent reviews which are certainly not reflective of our poor experience. the manager was rude, the motel was run down dated unclean and the only redeeming quality was the road out of there!!

We spent 2 nights here and our experience was positive. Shoutouts to Robert, who checked us in and also did our laundry for us on the 2nd night and Caroline who worked the front desk on the earlier shift, was also really helpful. All of the staff in the breakfast room, as well as housekeeping were polite and enthusiastic. You can tell that this is a well run establishment. The room was very clean - we were in room 23, with a king size bed and a twin. The wall mounted mini split was quiet (we’ve experienced very noisy ones in our 10 months of travel). The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and was fitted with a fridge and kettle. Having a lounge to eat takeout food in was great, and having a great view overlooking the lake it would be a good place to hang out on a finer day. Nice to have the breakfast buffet included in the rate too!

Lovely Motel, 10 minutes walk to the water.Thank you Jagmeet and Caroline for the beautiful room with the view. And thanks to the guy with the ginger hair, sorry forgot your name your service was amazing. The breakfast was great and girls lovely. The reason why only 4 stars. Is the carpet of the corridors had a very bad odor.Lack of ventilation. We had a graet stay thank you.

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights. There was onsite parking but would recommend a small car. When we booked it stated there was a buffet breakfast but was disappointed to find it was continental. However it did the trick. Coffee was terrible, recommend brining your own and using the plunger in the room. The room was really big and had a kitchenette which was great. The lodge was close enough to the city and to nearby walks (Queenstown summit track and the gondola walk). We thought it was expensive, but it was one of the cheaper options when looking for accommodation in Queenstown.

We stayed in a king/twin ensuite room on the ground floor. The room was fairly basic but was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfasts were adequate but without providing much of a range of choices. Views from the lodge were good. Parking spaces seemed to be limited - not sure how many off-street spaces available compared to number of rooms. The lodge is well located being only 5-10 minute walk to the city centre although Beetham Street (about 100 metres long) is fairly steep.
