Only stayed for one night in a 4 bed female dorm with ensuite. Has everything you need for a great price, even dinner and breakfast included. Very clean and in a perfect location in the amazing Queenstown. Only paid $4 for great wifi.

Booked for 13 days here its like a 5 star backpacker. We didn't book a hotel or apartment this time because all we're doing is lock-up and leave then sleep at night because when you're in Queenstown you just have to be out and about! We've been to other backpackers and I can say this is like the Queen. However,... More

This was a large hostel located very centrally in Queenstown- the location was fabulous. I booked a private room with ensuite which was actually quite a lot like a hotel room which was good- towels and toiletries were included. However, some problems- the bedside lamp wasn't working from the start of my stay- I did inform reception about this pretty... More

I was here as part of Kiwi Experience. I was a bit apprehensive about coming here, given the reputation of Nomads, but I had heard good things from other people and on this website. We stayed in a 10 bed ensuite dorm with a deck. The shower was modern, clean, had good pressure, and hot water. The room was an... More

When people look for a hostel, I think they normally expect a nice, cheerful atmosphere, reasonable prices, clean facilities and great location. Well, Nomads has all that and a few more reasons to deserv two thumbs up from me. Apart from the great atmosphere, fantastic location, good prices (well, for Queenstown standards), we were lucky enough to get an upgrade... More

We stayed in a private room on the top floor and loved it! We have both stayed before but in the dorms and loved those as well. We were surprised at the quality of the room for us. It was very spacious and had brilliant facilities. We had a lovely balcony with some sweet views of QT. The only fault... More

We had 2 nights of noise from the bar downstairs blasting loud music till 4am (past 4am when there is a BIG night.) The whole room vibrates with drumming and woke everyone up. A room mate and I had to complain to the receptionist before they turn it down. The counter staff were nice folks. However, Queenstown is within walking... More

Stayed here for Winterfest. Three of us had booked a room and one person missed their flight so couldn't stay the night. They resold the room to a random and still charged our friend. The rooms are clean but the beds are uncomfortable, metal bunk beds. Very noisy with bars all around the hostel, all we could hear was music... More

We stayed in a double room with ensuite. Although a bit small, it was totally awesome. TV, heatpump, free coffee tea, Free toast in the morning and a free entre size dinner in the evening. The toilet was clean, and we didn't get the use the kettle because it was rusty - but in the morning upon informing them, they... More

Turned up on the door and paid $34 a night if I had booked online it would have been $26 much more reasonable. They say they provide breakfast but this is just toast and jam not even a cup of tea. The free dinner is tiny and you pay $3 for a larger portion but the food is horrible so... More
