We very much enjoyed our stay at the Four Seasons. Our suite was immaculate and very comfortable, with an expansive view of Queenstown, the lake and mountains. Our hosts, Wayne and Rose, were very helpful, recommending places to eat and things to do while in town. One of the best accommodations on our 2-month tour of NZ.

We stayed one night either side of doing the Routeburn Walk. The Motel is convenient for town. Queenstown is expensive you don't get as big a room here for the money but that is to be expected. We were delighted to be allowed to leave a car and a case while we were walking. (To be fair you cannot expect this if the hotel is full of people wanting to do the same). There is some road noise at night as it is on a steep hill, but not too much. Friendly helpful front desk.

We really enjoyed our 2 nights stay. Centrally situated, very clean and comfortable room and very quiet although on a busy street. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will not hesitate to stay there should we be in Queenstown again.

Thank you to Rose and Wayne for their hospitality. It was a home away from home. A wonderful spot for my three night stay in Queenstown. Central location, lovely views and comfortable apt. All the best Lori

I was absolutely blown away at the lack of professionalism of the on-site managers. I had arranged for a surprise for my brother who I have not seen in many months - I went to reception (not knowing that they do not operate 24 hours) to be greeted with a sign saying reception is closed, press the button for after hours reception which is what I did. Now, let me add, I work in a hotel myself and I understand how after hours work, I have done it many times. Therefore, the person who answers to phone is responsible for all after hours reception work. I asked if I could please have *brother's name*'s room number to be told, "No, I am in bed". I have never ever met someone who works for a Hotel/Motel who doesn't not have a in-house rooming list with them throughout the night in case of an emergency evacuation! The managers should really look into this in order to prevent any errors in the event of a fire, etc. Anyway, I asked again if I could have his room number and the old man was extremely rude, and unprofessional. Told me he would come down to the office in a mind-blowing tone. To tell me that he doesn't have a guest under that name, so I proceeded to ask if it was under his friends name that he is traveling with for the man to say "Look, I am not playing this game with you. I don't have *brothers name* checked in and that's final. Now leave". I was horrid at this, not to mention he was dressed in a dressing gown. What sort of manager wears a dressing gown to the office?! I am absolutely appalled. I do not recommend this hotel's management or professionalism. Highly encouraged to sort the attitude out for future guests. - Might I add, my brother IS staying there. Terrible!!!!!

Four Seasons Motel is very clear about office hours.the bell at the door is for emergency's only and is clearly marked as such this is for our GUESTS. It was 12.30 in the morning when you woke my husband and myself up.We cannot give room numbers to young women just because they say they know the person in the room and we do not have visitors on site after 9 pm at night. My husband only came to the door because you may have been disturbing our guests. The man in questions name was not on the register apparently he worked for a company we had listed. At no stage did you mention your brother and even if you had there were five of you two women and three others and there was no way you were going to be permitted to go to a guests room and disturb them or our other guests. You were possibly one of the rudest smart mouthed young people we have ever had on the property. And you had no right to even be on our property at that time of the evening as you were not a guest of ours. I am concerned that you say you work in the industry. Obviously you went to trip adviser as they do not care who puts on reviews or what they put on there site.
