This hotel in itself is a beautiful design - the lobby is just beautiful, and the view our onto the lake simply mesmerizes you. Our room had much the same view of the lake. We like having a balcony when we travel - we'll often sit out and enjoy the view while we sip our wine and chat. Our only...

Stayed here over Easter 2017 but lower level rooms overlook hotel extension construction site which was fine until after Easter holiday when workers arrive at 0730 and construction work with cement mixers start at 0800. Duty Manager has no authority to cater for holiday makers needs apart to offer to relocate to another room for last day - very disappointing...

The Rees is a large luxury hotel that's located on the lake and a short distance into Queenstown. Room was large and nice with all amenities. A shuttle service is provided (no charge) into town. Enjoyed our 2 night stay during our road trip thru New Zealand.

Excellent accommodation in a great location and a view to match! The staff couldn't be more helpful - from booking trips, confirming activities and transfers and serving you in the bar. The shuttle bus into town was a fantastic addition and saved a lot of hassle and cost.

This is a fantastic hotel offering very spacious rooms with a good size balcony with superb views across the lake. The staff here are very helpful and friendly. If you don't wish to drive...

Very lovely apartments. The main reception room has the most spectacular view, it is nice to sit and pre-drink here before heading out to dinner. We booked some activities through the hotel which was convenient. Ordered breakfast in the room one morning which was good but not amazing. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Stopped here 2days. Lake view suite is fabulous. Comfy bed, fully fitted kitchen, what you want that for god only knows. For me best extra was the free shuttle to town, go shopping , sight seeing, and great advantage of dining out and get a return to hotel. Rees restaurant was great, excellent food , good service , and all...
