Great place to stay right in the heart of Queenstown. TV didn't work, but that didn't worry us that much as we don't really watch TV anyway. Inexpensive room. No view, but thats what we paid for. Just walked over the road to the lake for a Ferg pie on the lake for breakfast.

A mixed review from me. Our room had a modern kitchenette, bathroom was not new but tidy, and I didn't notice any problems with cleanliness (other reviews mention this as a problem). The location is amazing so it's probably well priced because of that. Negatives... two flannels provided for three guests, electrical plugs hanging out of the gib walls which is dangerous, not enough bedding and we were cold, and a person could pee more than the pitiful flow of the shower! I would stay again, but I'd ask to see room first to assess it first. Staff were very nice

Awesome place to stay. Our room was fantastic, very comfy beds. great big couches in the lounge and the kitchen was good. Showers were powerful like we enjoy and the bathrooms were very clean and tidy. The location was perfect for us right in town and what a great view !!! We will definitely be back to the Lofts

The pics for this property looked like the place was renovated- not our room. Cracked crockery, nothing matching, says 4 small plates-3 are saucers! Glasses had lipstick & plates food stuck on them. 2 mis matched bowls were grubby & chipped. Bed lumpy, but sheets clean. Old synthetic blanket. Bed side tables are 1970s foot stools. Holes and stains on wallpaper, floors had hair and ingrained dirt. Oldest microwave ever turned yellow with age. tv not working even after the office tried to fix 3 times. Bathroom renovated, but weird set up & not wide enough to dry yrself. Washing machine/dryer worked. New fridge. Good location.

Unfortunately our room looked NOTHING like the photos. We got room 101, a room mere metres away from the busy street. The room was so dark and dismal, and the windows opened on to the street. There were no net curtains or sheers so we couldn’t even have the curtain open as people could see straight in from the street. We were awoken at 6am by the rubbish being collected. I couldn’t sit next to my husband on the couch as there was no back to half of the couch so he had to have a cushion against the window but was still somewhat behind me. The shower had a facecloth left in there from previous occupants. The biggest gripe was that there was a sign out front advertising rooms for $150/night, we paid almost $450/night - 3x as much as that room was worth. We feel the photos on the site were completely misleading. It says some rooms have a view – my booking stated a mountain view and city view, I had neither. While they might have a photo of the interior of our room many photos into the collection, it does not show the dark timber ceiling so does not reflect the dark dismal room that we had, particularly when we couldn’t open the curtains. I emailed the company via booking.com and their own website but have heard nothing back.

We had originally booked in their sister apartments, but because of a fault we got moved to here. Great location, and friendly receptionist. The beds are comfortable and clean. The negatives, the decor could do with an update, and because of its location we were woken up constantly from drunk people arriving back at all hours. You can hear EVERYTHING 😳

Booked through Expedia as rooms were available. Took the money. Got to Loft apartments to check in - no room. They have breached Expedia contract by making rooms available when there were none. Very rude. Refused to find another room at another hotel. Wouldn't bother again.

This is advertised falsely as a “luxury” apartment, it is anything but. We stayed in a 3bed apartment there was left over food in the kitchen from previous guests from god knows when. The walls all have poorly repaired holes in them the windows walls and ceilings are mouldy including black mould in the bathroom/laundry that also has no extractor fan. There are no smoke alarms in the building in our room all that remained was a bracket on the wall. The ceilings appear to be asbestos based and have been disturbed by some attempt at scrubbing particularly I. The bedroom. The carpet and couches were stained badly and the dining room chairs were all broken. Hotel management is pathetic part of our party got trapped in the lift they were not helpful at all and in the end after two hours I had call the fire brigade so they would get the lift technician to help. We were offered not even an apology. I have had to contact the council regarding the safety and hygiene of this building and also FENz regarding the complete lack of fire safety. Do not stay here honestly a night in the car would have been superior.

Stayed here 1 night, booked and paid for balcony apartment with mountain views via booking.com but was given ground floor unit with a view of the wall. Staff just didn't care. Place is getting rundown and maintenance appears non-existent. Bathroom was damp with water damaged cabinetry, window seals were falling out, electrical appliances test date expired 2017 - I could go on. Should have looked more closely at the current reviews as several mention similar. Some even had their booking cancelled at the last minute so at least we got ours. The location is very convenient BUT the accomodation is at the budget level despite being advertised as 'luxury'. We will not stay here again!

Started with a greeting of "Hi, it's $15 a night to park your car". An insult. Then it just got worse. Cobwebs on bedroom ceiling, dust on walls, no toilet roll holder (screw holes in the wall for one though!), broken door and draw handles. it was just generally dirty. We were able to write the words "dust" and "cobwebs" in the dust on the bedroom wall with a finger. The place is run down and nowhere near the close too $300 per night rate we paid! On checkout the reception was un-attended (maybe as they know they'd get complaints?). Couches were dated and old, bed cover was a duvet cover with a cheap fleece blanket inside. On the positive, the kitchen was good (seemed renovated) and well appointed, though we washed anything prior to use. Also a plus was the location.
