We stayed at Reavers Lodge because we didn't have a choice, and what a mistake. The entire place is dirty and so noisy at night. Our beds were so old and uncomfortable. The walls are thin so you can hear people party until 3 am, the television next door, etc. The breakfast is only cereal and toast. It was an... More

We were in town for the Queenstown half marathon, and due to booking slightly late there was limited accommodation left for the weekend. The big hill was a killer, and after walking 21km it was awful. We were in room 13 and whoever was upstairs was pacing the floors for most of the night and kept us awake (some pre-run... More

Terrible spot, definitely stay elsewhere if you have an option. 6 bed dorm has a single shower/toilet/sink combo separated from the sleeping space by a mocked up sliding door. Bathroom trashcan was over flowing and there was no toilet paper. Mattress was pretty beat up and theed frames are beyond squeaky, but you likely won't notice over the noise from... More

Spent a week there, great location as close to the centre and the gondola. Friendly Scottish receptionist that greeted us and she seemed to sort the problems we had out when she wasn't working, I.e other guest using washing machine at 11.40pm when it should've been locked at 9pm as it was super loud, no one could sleep. Beds were... More

This is no way a 3 star rating....Its a glorified youth hostel The rooms was dirty and no water pressure in the shower. Only 1 television channel and was noisy until about 3am. This place is nowhere near value for money... I would not stay here again.

The room is basic and come with ensuite bathroom, fridge, microwave...etc. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. They always able to help you whatever you need. I would highly recommend this lodge. Thanks guys for doing a... More

Theres laundries on each floor and a breathtaking view from the top floor of the whole of queenstown. Its walking distance from the... More

Not quite as nice a place as it appears in the photos, cheap minimal furnishings, lots of noise from other guests, at the top of a steep hill with very limited parking, particularly if you arrive in the early evening. Basic cheap cereals and bread for breakfast.

As a thrifty traveler I wanted somewhere with a reasonable price and near the town centre. This fit the bill, but I ignored the other reviews and booked anyways. If I were to stay here 1 night it might have been different, but I needed 3. There may be signs up for quiet time after 10 but these other guests... More
