A package for 2 nights w included Exploring cruise at Milford sound is excellence and worth. A Chalet is nice and a surrounding include a front- river and mountain w waterfall is very romantic. Chalet itself is beautiful and funtioning. I love a breakfast in a cafe where also serve dinner which is ok.

We stayed in a Riverside Chalet and the view was beyond amazing! Great staff, excellent food and so many hiking trails near by. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a secluded, off the beaten path, peaceful lodging.

Firstly it's in a gorgeous location surrounded by lush rainforest. They let us choose our own campervan site which was great. They are very spaced out which is lovely. Very clean facilities and close to Milford sound. A shuttle into town is also offered if you book! Cafe too and you can purchase wifi. Lots of walks close by which... More

We stayed at the lodge for a night and then upgraded to the chalet. We are so glad we did. The room felt brand new. Decor and furniture was beautiful. We made sure we didn't leave the room unless absolutely necessary to maximise the experience. Highly recommend doing the cruise and driving around on days one, then lock yourselves in... More

This is the only place to stay in Milford Sound and it has dramatically different levels of accommodation, so when reading any reviews or booking make sure you know which is which. We stayed in the top level Riverside Chalets (6 only) and they were excellent, the views thought the enormous windows are breathtaking, as it was mighty chilly out... More

When i heard these lodges were built i couldn't wait to stay there - they are very expensive - the most expensive in our whole trip in New Zealand $400 per night - The view of the river and the mountains spectacular and majestic and because it was raining hundreds of temporary waterfalls formed cascading down the mountains it was... The Lodge is situated by the river and surrounded by mountains as far as the eye can see. It honestly feels like you're the only people in the whole place, it is so quiet and surreal. Stayed in the backpacker style dorms for two nights which were pretty basic, but you don't spend much time inside anyway as there is... More

This is the only accommodation in Milford Sound so we were expecting it to be horrible and expensive but it was a great place! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The place offers a complimentary walk around the property where you learn quite a bit about Milford Sound. The kitchen area has recently been renovated (we were there when... More

We were fortunate enough to visit Milford sound recently and stayed at the Milford sound lodge. The lodge was very conveniently placed, our chalet was beautifully furnished and we had a delicious breakfast. They offer a shuttle service to the harbour and I must say the Milford sound cruise was amazing. There are a lot of hikes but we basically... More
