What a fabulous place to stay. Loved the room, the grounds and the breakfast. We ran out of time and did not have time to do the castle tour so that will have to wait until next time. Will definitely be back.

Staying at the castle is a unique experience. We stayed in the stables by mistake. This is budget level with shared bathroom. After the initial shock we got used to it. We had a large room but it had limited head room. Other rooms were small. However they were clean and bed comfy. Dinner at the castle was really good....

The weather was not particularly pleasant while we were staying at the castle so we did not have an extensive visit of the gardens however seeing the castle and dining in its dining room was a treat and wonderful memory. We dined both nights with different hosts and very different fellow diners to get to know.

So much beauty in one place the detail the view across from observation deck . A tasty high tea provided on our tour from the ship , guide with wealth of knowledge greeted us and plenty of opportunities to take pictures along the way

We stayed at Larnach Castle for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and our 2year old toddler did so as well. The gardens were brilliant to play in and the castle experience was an experience of a lifetime. The stable rooms were cosy, clean and warm. The cooked breakfast was hearty, and the service staff (young man with long hair)...

Kinda a long drive onto the Otago Peninsula. But once we arrived and late they opened the gates to the castle and treated you like royalty. The tour and audio was superb and the gardens are beautiful!

We were very impressed with everything about our stay. The Stables is supposedly the 'budget option' but it was one of the nicest places I've stayed in. Comfy beds, easy to find our way around, beautiful gardens, delicious food & wonderful staff. I have raved to anyone who will listen about our stay. Highly recommend this destination. Would love ro...

The castle itself is grandiose and commands its venue. It has very nice gardens and grounds and has a fantastic view of the sea. The Interior is not as imposing as the exterior but still of interest. We enjoyed our visit there.
