Page 1/1000. One of the best b&b's we have stayed in for the last couple of years. His lordship Dave and his lovely wife Amanda really give you a warm welcome. They serve the best breakfast you can wish for, homemade yoghurt and croissants. If you ever find yourself in Christchurch in need for a place to stay, book at...

Our hosts Amanda and Dave could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The Belmont is a little piece of Christchurch history, very comfortable and homely. We were given excellent advice for visiting Christchurch which really optimised our few days there. Lovely breakfast.

My husband and I stayed here while waiting for a camper van. It was so nice that we thought about cancelling the camper van and staying here all week. The owners were gracious and welcoming. They even came over to check on us after a small earthquake rocked the house at 3 AM! The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet....

We were welcomed by Amanda with a warm hug as if we knew each other for a long time. She showed us the very old house (1905). It's nicely renovated and decorated. A spacious living room with TV and the kitchen can be used at any time of the day. We had the bedroom with view to the entrance and...

Amanda and Dave made us very welcome in their Edwardian B&B which had beautiful architectural details originating from the first Scottish owner's designs. We were welcomed with muffins and tea and told the history of the house whilst we relaxed in this interesting home. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the breakfasts excellent! Both Amanda and Dave were very...

We're generally not B&B people, preferring to stay at more downmarket locations - we tend to be backpacker and camping folks. But due to an unfortunate flight issue, our airline booked us in with Dave and Amanda and we had a lovely night there. Dave and Amanda are like chalk and cheese - but both incredibly friendly, interesting, warm and...

Belmont is a beautiful old house with large rooms and bathrooms. Amanda gave us a very warm welcome. She told us everything about the house and her history. Going into the centre of Christchurch is very easy (car or bus) and there are also nice restaurants nearby. The breakfast in Belmont is also very good. Home made yoghurt from Dave...
