Stayed here for the first time as I was in Blenheim for a night. It’s well located with the town centre within walking distance, it’s on the main road but set back enough that road noise isn’t a factor. I chatted to a couple of different people that were manning reception and both were very friendly. My room was fine, it was split into a couple of separate areas with a bedroom and a smaller living room section. There was a TV in each room, fast wifi, a large comfortable bed and the rooms were clean. The bathroom looked like its due for a bit of an update, but the shower was nice and hot. A nice spot to stay and I’d happily stay here again

We rang the Quality Hotel on the way back to Blenheim after arriving, viewing and then immediately cancelling our accommodation in Picton, due to it being below expectations.
The staff member we rang was so helpful and luckily they had a room for 4 night. We arrived and met by a lovely staff member (think he was the assistant manager) and after the admin stuff we were shown to room 6, a very large corner room with king size bed. We couldn't have been happier after our last experience.
The Hotel is single story and our room was definitely the bigger of the rooms we were able to see. Car parking is free onsite and breakfast is available, but a bit pricey at $22.50 for a hot selection, however Blenheim is so close and plenty of choice is there.
The Hotel is about 1 minute off SH1 on Nelson St, and albeit on SH6 (turn right out of the hotel and keep driving and you are on SH6 and heading to Nelson.
There are no laundry facilities however for a charge they'll wash, dry and fold it for you.
We'll be staying here again if we get the chance

Possibly not a Quality Hotel anymore and privately owned?
The staff were friendly but the place (or at least the room we stayed in) was in desperate need of a makeover. The room stunk of that masking air freshner, and was present for both our nights. The room was dated, but looking across the courtyard, I could see another room with paint tins in it, so maybe the renovations are underway. Other things we noticed was that on arrival our toilet had dried urine on it. Not great, and impressions like that make you wonder about the cleanliness of rest of the room. The gardens need a lot of attention and it was clear to see rubbish (KFC boxes and wrappers etc) in the gardens by the entrance. Surely someone should clear that daily. Cobwebs all around the external of the building gave me an impression of a lack of maintenance or "running it on the cheap". Hopefully the place is going through a reno, so I look forward to seeing the finished product.

I stayed at the Marlborough Riverside hotel for 2 nights during a working week.

The room was comfortable in every way. The location is good / very near to central city, and there is plenty of parking.

The two staff members I met, including manager Kapil, were very attentive and courteous. Kapil especially sent a long text to explain after hours check in, and offered to guide on the phone if needed.

The only disappointment was lack of vegetarian choices at the buffet breakfast, so I did not eat here but went to another cafe in town instead.

All in all, a nice place which I will be happy to stay at, again.

We arrived late after an accident requiring hospital treatment. The manager not only provided us with the kitchen facilities (which were closed as so late) and heated food for us, but gave us simple pain relief at no charge. Lovely setting and spotlessly clean and quiet. Upgraded to a room with 2 beds so we could get a good sleep. Thankyou so much.

This hotel, now called The Riverside Hotel has undergone a major renovation. Our room was modern, clean, light and very comfortable. The bathroom was modern and spotless, nothing like the images shown under this TA listing.

We had a great two days here. We used the pool on both days, although cold it was a welcome relief in the 29C heat.

The on-site restaurant (Japanese) is also excellent. I have written a separate review.

If in doubt about the hotel, please refer to the Booking.com listing where the images accurately reflect the refurbishment that has been undertaken.

A great value, clean and modern hotel.

I have never left a review but this place was useless. I complained about having an ice cold shower yesterday and they said they would look into it. Woke up this morning and the water is still cold. Apparently they looked into it yesterday and think there was something wrong with the element. You would have thought they might have let me know. Funny thing is I stayed here before Christmas in the very same room and had exactly the same problem. Dead cockroach at reception when checking out. Don’t stay here.

I am in my second week here whilst being on my week off from Essential services. My 1st week a fornight ago i was super impressed with service, and helpfulness from Staff. Same again after returning. Given these difficult times the staff have been most helpful and accomodating, with anything you require. I am super impressed and will tell my work mates at Interislander/Kiwiwrail, and i look forward to coming back in the near future to try out the pool and bar facilities when things go back to normal

Wow this is a very nice hotel, clean, spacious room and super comfy king bed. Also very quiet. I had a great night's sleep.
Is the first place where we have been able to use our netflix account on the TV, which was very useful.
Walking distance to central town restaurants.
