When on the South Island of New Zealand, it's only appropriate to wine-taste in Marlborough. My wife and I were on our honeymoon in NZ, and had the opportunity to stay in Adelaide's Barn. The small cottage offered privacy, great aesthetic and incredible guest service (including delicious, fresh ingredients to make breakfast). The location is close to many vineyards, Renwick,... More

The old house has wonderful charm and is beautifully restored. Both the romantic cottage and the garden suite are comfortable and private. Nanette provides a splendid breakfast professionally presented and excellently cooked. The location is central to vineyards, Picton and Blenheim and provides an ideal location. Top marks to Nanette and Steve, and a friendly pat for the two companionable... More

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Marlborough B&B just this past March for two nights. We stayed in the detached Adelaide’s cottage which turned out to be more spacious than our San Francisco loft. It’s self catering which means that we had all the breakfast provisions we could ever dream of including fresh eggs, milk, yoghurt... More

Thanks so much for taking the time to place feedback and so glad you enjoyed your stay. The platter is a great option after a day out wine tasting and we always try to use fresh and in season produce including our lovely Marlborough Salmon. Love to see you again if you are back in Marlborough. More

We stayed in Adelaide's cottage over the Christmas period for 5 nights. The cottage was delightful. Very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The sofa was extremely comfortable for relaxing and the garden surrounding the cottage was private. Very nice hosts who were welcoming. Would love to return as it is such a magical place and a great base to visit... More

My wife and I stayed for three nights at Marlborough B&B over Easter of this year. We had booked on the basis of the very positive reviews we had read about it and it more than lived up to our expectations. We arrived mid-afternoon on Good Friday, when most of the surrounding businesses were shut and were met by Nanette... More

Steve and I so enjoyed having you and Suzi to stay - you are such a delightful couple and great fun to be with. It is also lovely to see people enjoy 'Woodside' as much as we do. It was great that you had time to fully explore the Marlborough region and do some activities (other than wine tasting -... More

So, this will always be a special place for me as my fiance proposed to me in the living room of Adelaide's cottage. But even had that not happened, I love still love this B&B. The setting is just gorgeous, the cottage comfortable (though we did find some dead bugs in the plates in the cupboard!), and the owners friendly... More

A little outside of town, this lovely home was very charming and homey. The owners recommended us great placees to eat where we had great lunch and dinner. Our room, Adelaide's barn was very well equipped with a nice kitchen and baked bread and anything we need for our breakfast the next day. The barn also had a spacious bathroom... More

This was a fantastic peaceful place to stay and enjoy Marlborough. You'd probably need a car to enjoy it as it's not really walkable to any restaurants etc. We did a bike tour where they picked us up and dropped us off at the B&B though. Steve and Nanette were so friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend the platter... More

Comfortable is an understatement. We had everything we needed and more. The hospitality was KiWi at its best. We loved the two dogs that came to greet us and the setting. The bed was great, always a good thing. The bathroom was pure luxury.

This is the cutest and most special B&B I have stayed in, hidden away from the local town but still super assessable to all activities. Our Lodge (we stayed in the self catering area) was just super and had everything you could wish for, plus homemade bread which was to die for. Our room had the most comfiest bed ever... More
