Reading other reviews, I was really expecting an antique looking room. Yes, it has a four-poster bed in Room 15, but it was a beautiful, well appointed room, with a leather 3-seater couch, and a Sky-TV, Jacuzzi style tub w/shower.

Shepherds Arms is a more historic hotel so is not modern so the carpets are a little thread bare and the decor old fashioned.
