Central location, parking available short walk away. The apartment was clean and staff accomdating. Great for business trip but possibly not for a weekend away when you are looking for more of a special "Hotel" experience.

The Grand Mercure is very centrally located with all of the CBD locations in walking distance. The Hotel for us however was a total disaster. We arrived with 5 pieces of luggage and there is no support nor is there any luggage kart so you need to carry all your luggage up to your room yourself and by hand. The...

A four day stay, huge variation in tarrifs by 50 per day without any logical rationale, however, very friendly concierge/reception , they aim to please. The rooms are smallish and older however some updates and features make them fine for a quick Wellington immersion without breaking the budget. As an Accor Le Club member we received a welcome drink voucher...

We only stayed for the one night, the rooms are small however very clean, the staff were very helpful with bookings and tips on local must do's. Situation in a very good location for restaurants or takeaways, ask the staff to give directions to the food court-market, great place packed with mini street restaurants, music and bar :) plenty of...

Very friendly staff service, great location, good facilities. Still up and running no problem after the earthquake. I would recommend to other business travelers doing business in the Wellington Central Business District.

We have stayed here before and really enjoyed the location and views. We decided to stay again, but unfortunately a few weeks before the major earthquake event happened. One of the lifts was shut down for maintenance and there were obvious signs of work needing to be done for example our bedroom door would no longer close (actually stopped 20...

We have stayed here before and the staff are fabulous! - they went above and beyond during the recent earthquake which was terrifying! We were staying in a studio on the 15th floor and truly thought the building was going to collapse. We naturally ran down the 15 floors stairwell and once in Reception didnt want to go back to...

We stayed one night in this hotel as a stopover before catching the ferry to the South island, so we were not looking for anything fancy, and we wanted a decent location to get to the ferry in the morning. The location was ideal, with easy walking to shops and restaurants, and a short cab ride to the ferry. However...

I experienced my first earthquake at his hotel so it remains dear to my heart. My level 12 room was very suited to my weeks stay with good desk and Wifi. It threw me around a bit on the first night (no structural damage) but I met some interesting people milling in the street. Some surrounding buildings were damaged far...

I wouldn't stay at the property again. It's certainly not Grand Mercure standard, more IBIS or Formulea 1. It's not good value for money. The good: lovely staff, clean, convenient location, great harbour view from 14th floor. Good wi-fi The bad: Elevator noise, even though the room didn't back on to the elevator shaft you hear noise. Minibar, but not...
