Superb accommodation in Wellington with a particular good care of host Emily. The room was great, good view, nice roof terrace, excellent bed. As a breakfast was included, Emily prepared some delicious ingredience for us in advance, including homemade yummy cookies and granola. Tasty fresh bread, jam, orange juice, etc.Certainly all not mainstream stuff. Loved it! Emily also provided us...

Spent three nights at Acorns. The apartment had two bedrooms and is very well furnished - the special touches like good coffee, nice tea, eggs, soap and other touches indicate the care that the host E goes to make you feel welcome. There were excellent recommendations for things to do and restaurants etc. The space was spotless and tidy. While...

This was our first time to New Zealand and we couldn't have started out our trip any better! The room is charming yet modern. It's well equipped and very clean. Emily and Tim were so gracious and welcoming. They gave us great advice as to where to go for a beautiful walk and where to go to dinner. Also, the...

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very nice and looked out onto a spacious patio. We especially enjoyed the ridge/beach walk that was literally just up the road, and the delicious fresh bread, jams, and cookies!

Our room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped as was the bathroom. The layout and provisioning we thought well designed for a traveller. Little things like having two stands for suitcases make all the difference between "OK" and excellent. Lovely breakfast to help us on our way. The location is really good for exploring the area and also for getting...

Absolutely loved our experience at Acorns - the room that is set off from the house is like having your own little apartment in a very nice part of Seatoun, a gorgeous little suburb of Wellington. We thought the breakfast Emily supplied was delicious and enjoyed the convenience of it being provided the night before. A real home away from...
