Our studio room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom across the hall was fine however it was a bit of a hassle entering with a key (but we knew that we did not have an ensuite so accepted this). On our first night there were some very loud guests so we were woken up. Unfortunately, next door is a building site so that also created noise although they did not operate on a Sunday. We decided to move to different accommodation after the first night. We had to be very assertive to get our money refunded for the remaining 2 nights but PJ came to the party. We did like the location.
The Hair Dryer wasn't Working, it must be there for show. My Wife used her one. You should put up a Sign Saying Not to Use Hair Dryer. Have stayed there many times before. Was great & I would stay there more often. Thanks for having us.
The Hotel we stayed at exceeded our expectations. What I liked about the hotel was that it was super clean, spacious veranda, working jacuzzi, accessible drinking water, mini fridge. I was especially pleased with the location as everything we needed was in walking distance! I’ll for sure come back again!
Amazing place to stay, good location being literally 5 minutes walk to town., awesome beds , and lovely hot showers. full kitchen with laundry facilities. Very helpful manager Anu , always has a smile.
The bed was great - really comfortable. The heat pump was really annoying, some instructions would have been helpful and when I first texts sent to the cell phone provided were unanswered. When I tried the landline it transpired that the wrong cell number was listed. The heat pump continued to be problematic throughout the stay. With 4 of us staying there was not sufficient seating in the lounge> There was plenty of room in the lounge for a couple of chairs as well, so this was less than ideal.
After a missed flight (7pm and rescheduled for 6.30am) my son suggested I stay here. Hauling bags to the top floor wasn't easy! There was no-one at the reception, so I had to fumble my way with the outside lockbox for access. I had booked a room with a bathroom - however the bathroom was across the hall so this was disappointing ... especially with having to use the facility in the night and having to ensure I had the key to my room so I didn't lock myself out!! The room was cold, the heater made loud clunks so it was easier to leave this off and deal with the cold. Perhaps ideal for students or low cost/less fussy travellers. Not my cup of tea.
My husband and I have had a lovely little staycation at the U Boutique Hotel Wellington to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It is such a divine hotel. Being greeted by PJ as we walk in the door, whisks us away from our normal life reality. The staff are all professional but still very friendly. The room & bathroom are clean. As we arrived into our room, we were delighted to see our anniversary treat from the hotel (pictured).I can highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed in the 3 bed apartment. It is in a great location and the apartment itself was comfortable and had everything we needed apart from the ensuite bathroom which needs maintenance urgently. The first nigt we arrived we were shocked to see that the window didnt closebecause the top set of hinges was hanging off. It was a windy night and the so the window and bathroom door rattled and squeaked all night. There is also a big patch of black mould on the ceiling. When it started to rain the next day we could see why as water literally poured in through the ceiling. Not really appropriate when you have paid almost $500 a night for the apartment. Only issue was the TV network...the room had a good size smart TV but somone else kept trying to connect to watch kids TV we think through some kind of chromecast device. We evenually worked out how to get it back to the show we had been watching but probably should get that fixed! Having said all that I would stay again but would check that the ensuite bathroom issues had been fixed first.…
No room service for 5 days, the whole stay. Had to ring for towels after 2 days. The rubbish wasn't cleared, and we had the service sign up the whole trip. For the room, and the horrible service, this room was very over priced. The manager was there the first day to take our money and never to be seen except when my I law departed and he turned over the room. Plus there was no reception area to discuss payment etc . My husband is in a wheelchair, so I rang u boutique hotel and asked if they had an accessible room to sleep my husband and i, plus our daughter. The answer was yes. So I booked for use and a double room for my in law's. We arrived to find two steps into the room that slept 3! So we couldn't stay in the room we thought we had booked. We were then given the room I had booked for my parents inlaw, which was accessible but had not bed for our daughter, we were offered a trundle bed but with the room size and my husband's wheel chair there was no room, so she slept on the couch. The hotel has a great location.…
Great service and very accommodating of our requests. The room was comfortable and the location is great. Unfortunately the walls are very thin and the guy next door had a very loud voice so it wasn't a good night's sleep
