A bit eerie to drive in with multiple reproduced cottages... but they were lovely, well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, very private. Staff very helpful and enthusiastic. Amazing place to relax and enjoy the surrounds. Only disappointment was no onsite spa (but you can book a spa containing room). Would recommend to all and definitely stay again.

Receptionist was a friendly welcoming young lady, helpful and just right after a 17 hour car day. Arrived in the middle of a wedding reception near the check - in area, beautiful melodic Maori song filled the area. It was dark on arrival, there was plenty of turning space for the car and caravan. Villa was clean, heating efficient and... More

Looks good from the outside. It's very quiet. Rooms are very basic. Heaters don't work that well (turn off and on). Internet is terrible. Winery is only opened when there is an event on. Friendly staff.

Stayed 2 nights in a studio unit that had a connecting door to the neighboring unit, but found it very quiet. Room is a bit older but we'll maintained and very clean. We opted for a "greenie" studio which basically means that housekeeping does not service your room, but was a little cheaper. Staff friendly and helpful. We paid $74... More

Came here for a weekend away with NY partner and booked last minute the night before. I'm not sure if its because we booked last minute or maybe the fact that Taupo is so small but I would not consider this value for money considering the places I've stayed at in the past. The receptionist was lovely and very informative.... More

Electrical outlet on the stove was taped over, kettle boiled on microwave. Dining room table chair joint was loose. Spa bath didn't work, when bath filled a yellow gunge came out of the jets. Had to call reception on personal mobile because phone in Villa didn't work, were advised it would be replaced the next day. It wasn't. Requested an... More

Looooved it! We were upgraded and got the huge house instead of a room in the main building. The rooms are spacious, the houses are beautiful, the surrounding are great. It is super quiet and the staff is truly helpful. Fantastic surprise on our road trip.

Booked the studio room, not realising just how basic it was. The room is clean and the bathroom is nice and a decent size. However, we found ourselves searching for a number of basic necessities. Things like no tissues in the room, or suitcase racks, or a table to eat breakfast at. The room had two sitting chairs, where one... More

Firstly the staff are wonderful. Room was cold and the ancient heater cut in and out with a loud noise. Mouldy a third of the way up curtains. Weird bench space with lots crammed on with the TV above microwave in corner.

Villa we stayed is clean and comes with a whirlpool and fully equipped kitchen. Sadly we only stayed for a night as we happened to come across from Booking.com when we came to Huka Falls. We plan come back with bigger group next time.
