What a wonderful and quiet location right on the shores of Lake Rotorua. We stayed here for two nights and Heather and Blair looked after us very well. The rooms are beautifully presented and very comfortable. The grounds are well looked after and there is use of kayaks if you feel the need to take to the water. Breakfast was...

Out of Rotorua itself so you don't get the sulphur smells Koura Lodge is very individual and rather special. The hosts Blair and Heather were very welcoming and the breakfast was first rate. Blair's bacon and scrambled eggs freshly cooked were the best I have tasted as were the blueberry muffins ! They could not have been more helpful. My...

She helped us with dinner bookings and made some great suggestions for a Maori cultural experience. Our room while a bit on the small side, had a great view of the lake and the location...

For the price we were expecting more, when comparing it against other places we had stayed. The property itself is beautiful and the location is picture perfect; for those with alot of money to spend its worth the experience. You will need a car to get around as its located out of town.
