We have just experienced a wonderful couple of days with Lyndsay and Graham. They proved to be so welcoming and gave us some useful tips as to where to visit. The room was really comfortable and the cooking was first rate, and also we were made to feel so welcome.

We lived there in Dec 2016 for two nights, and everything was perfect. The house is close to the town and many of the attractions in Rotorua, but in the same time is far from the traffic and noise, and provides a peaceful view of Lake Rotorua. The backyard of the house is also a good place for stargazing on...

The lodge is beautifully situated on the edge of the lake with a great view of a bird sanctuary. They were most helpful in suggesting that we not partake in the mud bath! The sulphur pool was one of those experiences you didn't do that you're pleased you didn't. Great conversation and friendly banter.

A ground floor apartment with bedroom bathroom and fully equipped kitchen including dish washer and washing machine. Very friendly and knowledgeable hosts. Fantastic views directly onto the lake. Dining table inside and outside. Also a private whirlpool that we didn't use.

My husband and I stayed with Lyndsay and Graham from 14-16 November 2016 during our holiday in New Zealand. What a lovely B&B! It was the best one we stayed at during our 2 week holiday. We stayed in the Wai Motu room. We had a king size bed, ensuite bathroom (toilet + sink + shower), a small sofa, small...

Ngongotaha Lakeside Lodge is an exceptional property located on the lake and just a short drive from the Maori Show at Fairy Springs. Our hosts Lyndsay and Graham were exceptional. They were warm, friendly and helpful. NLL is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the area. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night. We will definitely...

Thank you SO much Gary, for taking the time to write such a glowing review of your stay with us. We did enjoy meeting you and your family and only wish your stay could have been longer. One night is just too short in Rotorua, where there is so much to see and do. We missed you all when you...

Went to spend our Valentine's Day with my hubby in February 2013. Owners were very hospitable and friendly. Food was superb. I enjoyed watching the sunrise with swans swimming in the lake. Was very unforgettable and romantic moment for me and my husband. I miss this place.

My wife Christine and I drove down from Aukland to be met by Lynsey and Graham with tea and home made cakes and a view through the lounge window across the lake that knocked our socks off . Their garden gently slopes down to the lake and we watched as anglers pulled enormous fish from the water . Our hosts...
