I had a dreadful aberration when I booked this place since I did not notice the paucity of reviews nor the mention of the smelly thermal pool-the stench from which is all pervading. Wish we had left instantly but we stayed one night (two booked) and was so glad to leave I didn't really argue about being charged for the...

We arrived in Rotorua after a hectic day driving from Auckland via Matamata and found the welcome very warm from our host Frank. He checked us in to a well kept and comfortable room, offered advice on the local area and even did a bit of laundry for us (well, his wife did and they even ironed the clothes). We...

Good B&B closer to the city center. They serve both got and cold breakfast with choice of cereal bread bacon eggs mushroom sausage and fresh fruits. There is a private thermal pool on the property and our is a perfect spot to relax after a long touring hike. The host was very friendly and he even lent me a travel...

Gracious hosts made us feel welcome. Room was warm and clean. On site mineral bath was a treat! Provided information on area and had great visit suggestions. Breakfast was hot and tasty. Even waved us off as we headed for our next adventure.

A wonderfully warm and cosy place for a stay away from the main streets of Rotorua. Nice and quiet and with lots of extras including the thermal pool available for guests. We unfortunately weren't able to use it but looked inviting. Comfortable room with ensuite and delicious cooked breakfast provided. Very pleasant host who went out of her way to...

Located on a quiet residential street just outside the central business district, this B and B may look a little outdated, but that is part of its appeal. Frank picked me, a first-time visitor, up from the bus terminal, took me on a little tour of Rotorua and was a kind, good natured and personable host. He really goes the...

This is a typical b & b but with added friendliness and hospitality provided by the hosts, which even extended to mending my wife's shoes despite having to damage the superglue tube to get some out. The host has a great sense of humour and did a great job of providing a hearty breakfast. Tea and biscuits were always available....

Nice accommodation in a quiet area near the town center. Frank is an excellent and enthusiastic host. They provide a Good cooked breakfast. Really hot pool fed with real mineral rich geothermal water. Some decorations in the room a little out dated, otherwise 5 stars!

we stayed two nights, we enjoyed a clean, comfortable room, delicious hot breakfasts, and the geothermal pool was a great way to relax after a day of hiking around. Our hosts were careful to our needs and provided great advice on local and regional sites, including the wonderful city park which has beautiful gardens around and between hot springs and...

Really the hosts Frank and Monica make this place special. From collecting us from the town centre when we couldn't find the B&B, to making recommendations and getting discounts at local attractions this place is a great place to stay for a couple of days. They offer plenty of off road parking and are based right in the town centre....

“This is a one level accommodation and has the b&b is in a quieter area of town, it wouldn't matter which room you had for a quiet night sleep. Some rooms have their own ensuite and others do not, so you would need to book your preference.”
