My husband and I spent 2 nights at Treetops. Our villa was beautifully appointed. They offer complimentary soft drinks and water. We had beautiful canapés and drinks pre dinner and then the dining area was layed out in an elegant setting. They asked in advance if we had any dietary needs and they fulfilled all of our requests without having...

Up a long winding dirt road, through near virgin bush arriving at a sanctuary that is tree tops. Stayed here with the family for three nights and experienced the best, and needs a 'little improvement' of this luxury lodge. Easy to start with the best, the walkways are wonderful and there is plenty of them to do that cater for...

Treetops was about 30 mins out from Rotorua but the drive is worth it, down a gravel track which is steep some corners it was an interesting track to explore. Michael greeted us personally outside the front door and took us in and made us feel very welcome, with a drink on arrival and a small tour of the rooms...

We stayed at Treetops 3 nights. Included in the price was 1 Signature Experience lasting 2 to 3 hours per day. This was not offered to us, not even mentioned. Also, when we gave the manager our food preferences, they were ignored. My friend does not eat seafood, yet she was served more than one seafood dish each night. For...

Truly a memorable stay with friends dining and wining with the open fires going and the rain coming down. Excellent service on arrival set the scene and clay shooting to end the two days outstanding. Plenty of room to move yet still cost. Best sleep in a while. Only disappointment spa pools not working - nor day before that apparently

I went to the Treetops lodge with my wife for my 50th birthday present. My trip to New Zealand was just to catch 1 fish that I would remember for a life time. While we were there, we explored around the lodge. It is a fantastic place to go to get away from it all. The staff was wonderful, the...

The 3rd lodge in our luxury lodge tour of New Zealand, one can't help but compare. From the moment we reached the gate to enter Treetops we knew it wasn't to the standard of The Farm at Cape Kidnappers or Huka Lodge. The driveway further confirmed this with potholes the whole way (lucky we were in a rental car....). The...

Treetops Lodge almost gave me the impression of being in Africa. The lodge is beautifully appointed with gorgeous rich woods, high vaulted ceilings, and zebra stripe upholstered chairs in the main lobby. Make sure you do a Treetops Estate tour as you will encounter cape buffalo, varieties of deer, wild rabbits, and lots of other native habitat.

Treetops was an amazing surprise of an experience. From the warm arrival to the succulent food and the huge (and I mean huge) suites you feel pampered from start to finish. We did a lovely waterfall hike with champagne and that was lovely. Relaxing in the suite by the fire was super cozy and the staff was always there to...

Treetops Lodge and Estate fulfils its motto ‘where nature meets luxury’.
