Interesting property. Lots of Asian bus tour groups staying. Walls of the rooms are paper thin so you can hear them talking till late at night. Room was opposite the pool which wasn't clean when we arrived although it was cleaned while we were here. Rooms are dated and need some maintenance.

This motel is a little dated, but the rooms are clean and beds comfy. We had a room for four, plenty of space , en suite, tea coffee etc and fridge. Plenty of places to eat at in town . The balcony of our room looked directly out on to the Te Pau geyser and park. This in itself is...

It felt very stark in the Reception area and the room felt like something from a 1950s horror movie. The beds caved in in the middle, the bathroom was basic at best and the towels were mismatched and very cheap, the windows had mold around them and the decor was very tired and depressing. The position with its view of...

Hell on earth. The place needs condemning. Exposed wiring in fridge. Pair of men's underwear behind the curtain, door to the outside screwed in so in case of fire you would have to climb out of the window. Telephone to reception doesn't work. Dirty showers, dust and grime everywhere. The swimming pool had scum around the tiles. Ripped carpets. Concrete...

Had to change rooms 3 times. The best and final had mold dripping from the roof in the shower. Was absolutely disgusting. Would not recommend. Stayed for 10 days and will not return. Overpriced and staff have an excuse for everything. We didnt have an iron in our first room (fine, whatever) but when i told them - so they...

I'm giving them a four simply because the staff was very nice and gave me a room with a fantastic geyser view! The room was also quite large and airy. Also the hotel is conveniently located and clean. That said...it needs everything. New carpet and paint for starters. Fresh bedspreads would be good too. The shower and sink showed hard...

Our room overlooked the geysers and mud pools of Geyserland and was comfortable although the decor was tired. A small tear in the bedspread immediately caught the eye on entering the room but after the accommodation was found to be clean and well equipped. Road noise was audible during the day but acceptable at night. Several of the rooms were...

We stayed for one night in January and paid $150 for a "family room". Great to have a queen bed but the mattress sagged so close to the floor that we slept the kids on it and adults slept in the singles. Stains on curtains, sloping floor which meant the bed was on a lean, powerpoint/s that didn't work and...

This hotel, although cheap, is very tired and does not convey comfort or quality. Naturally, being the summer holiday period here it was full to capacity - good for them, but surely there has to be a certain standard that all accommodation providers should adhere to? To compound their atrocities, the pillows did not have pillow protectors and were very...
