Beautiful location and lovely hosts. Conveniently close to many activities. Delicious breakfasts with something for everyone. We had the 2 bedroom area in the back of the house but still nice view of gardens from bedroom.
this is a B&B that has it all. What a view, just stunning, what a breakfast, just amazing, and Ginie and Bob, such great hosts. We spent 2 nights here and had we known, we would have booked more, This is probably the best B&B I have been to
We can not say enough about this Beautiful B & B . Ginie and Bob were so nice to visit with and we were given so many ideas as we had never been to NZ. I wondered if 3 days might be too long in the Rotorua area. Not at all! we stayed busy and could have stayed much longer. Between hikes, sulphur and mud baths, geothermal parks, white water rafting, actually just watching(WOW crazy) Redwoods, gorgeous lake views and more we loved our relaxing time. Their spa was also a daily treat. Thank you ! We will pass the word and make sure we plan ahead so you have room for us when we come back! Ginie your an amazing cook. Thank you! Lorrie and Roy
We have just had 5 nights at Shula’s b&b. A lovely comfortable place to stay and all the extras you could wish for. Ginny is a very special cook and you must enjoy her breakfasts as a highlight of your stay. Her use of her homegrown fruits, herbs and greens is inspiring and I will take some tips home with me. It is a wonderful location on the edge of Lake.
Our suite looked out over the large expanse of lake and we counted the black swans! It was quiet and close to town. Ginny, our excellent hostess, provided us with suggestions of local sights and cooked delicious breakfasts for us. We had home made cookies in our room as well as tea and coffee with real milk! We had a slight medical emergency and our hostess was ready with offers of help. A very nice stay.
