This motel is not on the hill but is near enough to town to get to the main attractions in about ten minutes. The staff are also very helpful and the rooms were a good size, with an adequate kitchen and furniture. The main issue is that it needs an upgrade as some of the net curtains were ripped and... Stayed 2 nights in a 1 bedroom upstairs unit, we liked the fact there was a small kitchen as it meant we could buy breakfast supplies from the supermarket instead of eating out. Location wise it was perfect, close enough to walk to the main stretch of shops and restaurants or beach and wharf for boat or ferry trips. Unit... More

My wife and I stayed along with my sister in a 2 bed unit. It was clean comfortable and did just what was needed for a 1 night stay. We paid extra as we had our well behaved dog with us, but unfortunately did not get a unit with a courtyard which would have been a boon. It was still... More

Comfortable airy studio with large sliding doors onto a balcony with seating. Good servicing of the room daily and extremely pleasant helpful manager. Good location short walk to the beach front, shops and pier from which the ferries depart for the bay trips.

Paul was extremely helpful and welcoming on our arrival and we were quickly checked into our two top floor rooms. Bath towels were replenished every day and the rooms cleaned. The rooms quiet and a good nights sleep. It's only a short walk into the small town where you will find a selection of restaurants and bars. Also you can... More

The premises are rated 4 star, perhaps by the owner only. Whilst it is dated and does have some peeling paint, it is generally quite comfortable and clean. It is fairly well located and the host, Paul, is most accomodating in giving local information, providing support to pay road tolls. The separate bedroom and grassed area outside n the ground... We had 4 nights in a ground floor 1 bedroom apartment and for two of us it was good to have that extra space Parking was available at the door.. It was an easy walk into town to shops, restaurants etc. We had a good size terrace which was nice for having breakfast even though not very private. The housekeeping... More

Nice service very helpfull, clean rooms. Convenient location, 5-10 mins from the city center, right next to Alfredo's which ios nice. Mattress seemed a bit old though ... The swimming pool advertised isn't really one, it's very small and looks more like a pond: don't go there if you really want to have a swim after your day ;-) We... More

Thanks for your comments. Our swimming pool you describe as a pond. Its not exactly an Olympic sized pool but good for cooling off,However the ocean is only a 100 metres away where one can have much more ambitious Olympic hopes. Thanks for the balance of the positive comments. Paul More

Pro's - clean room, friendly staff, close to town centre - about a 5/10 minute walk to restaurants. Cons - we were in room 1, the window in the bathroom was frosted, however anyone walking past outside would have known there was a naked person in there. Also, the door to the room is made of the same frosted glass... More

I cant understand your review and find it quite weird to say the least. I would find it very difficult to see anyone through the frosted glass unless your nose possibly was glued to the glass and then it would be difficult to see someone naked. Hmmmm!! Thanks for the rest of the positive comments. Paul More

Imagine spending all night wondering if there was a stranger sleeping right next to you, thanks to pillowcases that were clearly not washed after prior usage. That's just what I did a few nights ago at Marlin Court Hotel. All other pillows in our suite were used by my companions, and the motel office was closed when I got in... More
