The hotel is easy to locate and has ample amount of parking. Convenience store is at a 5 minutes walking distance as well as the city centre. Also the beach is at a similar distance. Plus point for the cleanliness and negative for not providing a microwave. It is very clean and the bed is comfortable too. Bath and toilet...

Overall it was good stay but I would suggest they should have microwave in the room .When we visit with the family sometime younger children ask for milk to heat up .Breakfast was very nice and it's really a great value for money.Staff was friendly .Location was Gud as it was very near to the city centre.

We stayed here with a tour group back in January. I'll start off with my overall opinion that it was good enough, nothing special but not horrible. It's certainly good for budget travelers. The good things about staying here was the cleanliness of the room and the staff. We only had limited interaction with them, but the staff really were...

Needs a clean, was pretty cheap so no complaints about the price, but the pics on the website don't match what the rooms are really like. Spent the weekend here once and probably will never be back. Parking can be a bit tight if you're room is out the back.

I was worried after reading some negative reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The location is not the ideal but its still walking distance to the beach front. The swimming pool is very small, do not be fooled by the pictures. We visited during Easter and we were late to check out also,...

This would not be a favourite place to stay. However the room was clean, but it was definitely in need of some refurbishment. The room I stayed in was ground floor and there was ample car parking. The hotel is a five minute walk from the town centre, and easily locatable

Stopped off here on the way from Auckland to Cape Reinga. Right in the Bay of Islands. This is a beautiful place to visit. The hotel itself is a lovely little place. We had a room on the outside of the hotel. I belive that there are rooms in the hotel itself as well. However, the room had everything you...

The rooms smelt and felt damp, the bathroom was very basic, the foam rubber beds were uncomfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful but we found it all a dreary experience. It is not on the waterfront, but is only 5-10 mins walk away.

The service is great. People friendly and helpful, they were kind and took time to talk about the places to visit and hike. Jacuzzi is a big plus during Fall. However, the rooms look dark, TV is not that great, no WiFi included and the breakfast is just ok (similar to a low budget hotel in USA) which is sad...
