A clean, quiet, comfortable hostel. Very suitable for the mature traveller since it is not a "party" hostel! We arrived for one night and ended up staying for 3! There is plenty of free parking and breakfast is included. We arrived after dark so It was a bit of a challenge finding the place as it is tucked in a...

Hidden away from the party streets of Paihia this backpackers is amazing on all fronts. Rose was so welcoming and helpful when we arrived. The free breakfast is a great touch along with the hammocks, the BBQ and the awesome courtyard. Only a 2 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk into town and Rose is on...

If you need to stay in Paihia stay here. A little out of town but worth it to be peaceful and rested. Delightful accommodation, we had a small abode up in the trees. Plenty big enough for us. Great communal accommodation also and camping.

We arrived late at around 9pm and the hostel were more than accommodating staying open late for check in. We had a very spacious double room which was excellent compared to other hostels we have stayed in. The free breakfast was a very nice touch and the kitchen area was excellent, more than enough fridge space and cooking facilities for...

The hostel is really amazing, its very cute, clean and full all the facilities you need. It's also away from the party street and much quieter. Also for the price its really incredible, for $60 we had our own room and free breakfast in the morning. Amazing!

This place was amazing! Rose was so accommodating when we called the day of to try and squish 4 people in for a night. The place is very clean, beautiful, and they had many private rooms. 10 minute walk from the beach and main streets so not too loud but not out of the way either. Food for breakfast, they...

I arrived with my family and we checked in, we were counting on a breakfast the morning after. Unfortunately it is only when the kitchen has been left tidy the day before, which was not the case. So although we paid for it, we did not have a breakfast, which brang another cost to our trip. The day after we...

When we found this place online we saw photos showing a very nice double room so we booked two nights. How deceiving these photos were. When we arrived we were led to what could only be described as a 2m by 2m office demountable hot box with a double bed. We sat there with the door and tiny little window...

We stayed here for 2 nights in a shared dorm over New Year's Eve and really enjoyed it! The owner is a lovely lady taking care of everything and helping you out whenever needed. The hostel has a really nice outside area to hang out, a BBQ, a kitchen with all the facilities needed and a few bathrooms. From 7...

This is a lovely hostel with a mixture of private rooms, dorms and camping facilities. There were a decent amount of bathrooms to rooms and the main house itself was very quaint. The outside space is utilised well as an area to eat and socialise in. The hostel shuts down around 10pm, so although it encourages you to socialise with...
