Stayed here 5yrs ago, the motel has deteriorated since then. Mould on bathroom walls, wall lights dont work. Toilet button missing, just generally dirty, not clean to a motel standard, knob fell off dishwasher when opened. Towels and pillow slips are stained. Pretty grotty. Bugs in light shades. Nets falling off and shabby.Motel changed hands since last there. Wouldn't stay there again.

The worst Motel my family and I have been in
The Aspen Manor was the worst Motel i ever been too the first night we had no hot water we tried to contact them they wouldn't answer, we had to boil water for our kids (camping styles), when we woke in morning there were ants all over bench coming from under microwave when I told them about everything they came and check and said the will send someone to fix, I asked them to have something sorted by the time we got back around 2.30 pm, we left at 10.am we got back we all starting having showers about 8 pm and still no hot water, I rang them they said sorry the couldn't get a electrician out till next day. I asked why wouldn't you let us know when we returned before we started washing, she its ok you can go unit 11 to use showers I said she should have moved us there when we returned, she reckons its ok our back door will take us out to back door of unit 11 we get there and there cockroaches over bathroom basin. There also was empty alcohol bottles under bed bedrooms smelt of alcohol. There was rubbish in what looked like a garden.…

Not great
You would have to be desperate to stay here. Really shabby. Someone’s dried up vomit still on the bathroom tiles. Asked for it to be cleaned 3 times and still there. Point plug was flashing so they put tape over it so we didn’t use it. No smoke alarms. Heater missing dials to turn it down. Very dangerous place to stay. Needs desperate upgrade and cleaning standards need to improve.

comfy & quiet
After a terrible time at Uni motel, this motel was like paradise. The rooms were quiet and warm with a decent kitchette, strong WIFI & parking right outside. A big bonus was being in a great location, walking distance to a range of fantastic restaurants... And a slightly longer walk will get you into the central city. Very happy, will choose to stay here again anytime.

A very convenient stay, close to town
There was ample off street parking and I was able to park in front of the unit. The motel in very central, but still quiet. The motel does not supply small shampoo bottles, but there were large dispensers in the bathroom, much better for the environment. The single bed was very soft, some people might like it, but it was uncomfortable. To get into the shower there is a 35cm step, not ideal for older people who aren't that mobile. A handle on the shower would've helped. The water in the shower was extremely hot.
