On arrival there were a lot of children running around in the car park and vicinity also very noisy. Also several adults lounging around outside and in open door ways.ap Appears this place is used as emergency housing for winz. Seems like these people have taken over the place. They do not respect other guests. We checked out after the first sleepless night when they were partying all night and were very noisy drinking all night and still drinking at 8.00am. Avoid this place at all cost there are much better places in Hamilton as we found out.

Our business group had this motel booked for some time. We arrived with the group spread across 3 blocks. People on long term residency live there who are rude, noisy, drunk and abusive. Would not recommend staying here as very noisy and not a nice atmosphere.

Pulled up to place. Tidy but dated. Went into reception area, how I would describe the smell that hit me was that off overcooked microwave popcorn. Although friendly it took a while for the young receptionist to sort our room, appeared to be a mixed up. After leaving reception it was very obvious that this hotel had allowed themselves to house welfare people. I am not judgmental however I would not have booked into this place if I knew this because I was looking for a quiet, relaxed environment. There were lots kids running everywhere, people arguing here and there, people all over the place smoking etc. The accommodation was clean and presentable however the air conditioning was not very good and it wasn't until after 9 that the room cooled down (despite abandoning the air con and opening doors and windows which allowed the outside dramas bellow in). Would not use the pool as overrun with people. Staying here was a real experience I do not wish to repeat!

Stayed one night at this motel. It was a convenient location to central Hamilton and for exploring the area. The room was clean, quite spacious with a kitchenette, large screen TV, small table with two chairs and free wifi. The bed was comfortable. There was a large supermarket across the road, very convenient if you needed any supplies. Would stay there again

I spent a night here late Feb 2019. I was able to check in at 1pm which was good. It’s quite a big place. $180 per night for a motel room for 1 person is expensive! I’ve stayed at the Hyatt in Perth for less. After registering at reception and making my way to my room I noticed what seemed like quite a few permanent indigenous residents sitting around outside their accomodation, kids bikes and toys etc. I wondered if a lot of people who were staying there were the overflow from the current Housing NZ crisis in this country. In fairness my room was clean and spacious. It was a warm summers day the day I checked in and during the evening at approx. 8.30pm I had the entry door open to create some airflow, sitting by the open window enjoying a drink I heard a rustling of plastic and turned to see an indigenousboy of around 9 years old at the kitchenette in my room searching through the complimentary tea/coffee/biscuit tray. He’d startled me and I said in a firm voice “ oi what are you doing!” ...he turned and looked and casually walked the 5m - 6m to the door and left my room, dropping a packet of 2 biscuits on the way. If I’d known he was hungry I would have fed him. I’d never stay here again, my room was clean but the whole place had a ghetto feel about it.
