A one night stay for one adult for $259 was outrageous. The unit would have been perfect for the 60's film 'Psycho'. tiny tv, no bedside lights, no faceclothes, the water pressure in the shower was abysmal. I had stayed in a almost new motel in Hamilton the night before at $175 including ultra modern glazed shower and luxury bathroom...

In studio unit in front, adequate but noisy during night with traffic noise. Unit nice and clean and lovely large towels in bathroom. However no shelves or cabinet in bathroom to place anything on other than the floor. No dishcloth supplied to wipe up water etc on bench. Lovely bed linen and comfy bed. Will stay again but would ask...

Lovely place for a family to stay. Full kitchen, clean and spacious rooms, great location. We loved our stay here- the manager turned the heater on before we arrived, and unlike other units with kitchens, our beds were made and rooms tided daily. Laundry on site was a great bonus. We'd stay here again in an instant.

This is just a motel, nothing flash, rooms OK, service OK. I wouldnt go out of my way to recommend it but i wouldnt put anyone off either. If you just need somewhere to stay for a couple of nights whilst you explore Hamilton then its fine, if you want somewhere you can relax and enjoy pick somewhere else

I booked with my niece and family to stay 3 nights to attend her mothers funeral. Upon entering the room there was a very bad smell. Dirty mats on top of grubby carpet. The place is worn and dated. The beds however were dressed in good clean bed linen, but that was the only positive feature. During the night my...

Stayed 3 nights at the Cedar Lodge Motel. This is located in a zone rich with motels of which many are bright and flash. The Cedar may not be the newest or flashiest in the area but it was priced right for 3 nights ,was tidy and above all was very very very clean. We booked a studio unit for 3 nights...

Looked at website and thought it would be a good place to stay but were extremely disappointed. Photos looked excellent but stayed in a room with two extra beds, but one of the extra beds was so uncomfortable and not long enough for a adult. The surroundings of the property was a bit scary walking into. Feel for the four...

Definitely not a 4 star, fully refurbished motel. Website photo's a bit misleading. Had trouble with the WIFI, however was sorted by the Manager within half an hour. Missing Handle on the pantry door, glasses not clean and broken. Shower turned off after a minute - was able to turn back on however. Double bed was hard, needs new pillows...
