It started with a greeting of "and here is the snooker table for guests to use and here are some home made gluten free cookies for you. Would you like a tea, coffee or water to go with your slice of home made lemon cake? Can I help you with your luggage?" It was the most welcoming of places and...

Hi Phil, thank you for taking the time to review our Bed and Breakfast and especially for giving such a comprehensive review. As a traveler that is exactly what I want to know when I am deciding where to stay. The Deluxe room has a 'in room en-suite,' but you were not to know that being in the Queen room....

After 3 nights in Auckland, this BnB was our first port of call, on our road trip to Wellington. We spent one night here at this wonderful accommodation. From the time we arrived, we were made to feel very special. We were so well looked after, the entire time. Dianna and Charlie could not have done any more for us....

Hi Jeanette, It was a pleasure to have had you stay with us and we are so glad you will come again. Hopefully Dianna's Lemon cake will be on the bench top next time. That's my favourite :-) I do apologize for the blustery weather New Zealand has been having. They say summer will definitely arrive for February. Better late...

The Shailer B&B was one of the great highlights of our trip to NZ. From the moment we met Diane and Charlie their welcome and hospitality was remarkable. The room was perfect and the morning breakfast was something not to be missed (egg benedicts in particular). Don't miss the chance to do a custom farm tour of the dairy and...

We really enjoyed staying at Shailers Bed and Breakfast. Charlie and Dianne were such wonderful hosts and the room was immaculate neat and clean. Small details like a heated blanket really warm my heart. Not forgetting the breakfast! The farm tour was amazing and my daughter had a great time holding little lamb, pepper the rabbit, seeing gypsey the puppy...

Dianna and Charlie were gracious hosts who took care of everything we needed. The stay was beautiful with an inspiring view.
