My husband and I stayed there new years eve 2016-17 and were pleasantly surprised. Although the outside of the hotel is in need of a little TLC the inside is clean and has new paint and carpet though out. The gardens are lovely to wander around and have picnic benches to sit. There is also some basic hot pools to...

When we stayed at this hotel overnight it was like visiting a friend. The front door was locked so we entered by the back door. Our room was big and clean, upstairs with balcony access. The grounds around the hotel are like a botanic garden. The hot water spring smell of sulphur but private and once immerced in the water...

After a phone call to the hotel and looking for some much needed accommodation, we were greeted by Knox who is the most friendliest and trustworthy person we have met. We stayed for the night and we were put into the family unit. The unit has its own shower, bath and toilet with 3 rooms. Rooms were clean, spacious and...

The Hotel looks like it is slowly falling down (in a good way). We called in unannounced to use the pool, we found Knox out the back having a soak himself. He was very friendly, warned us the pool may be too hot for our liking (it was HOT), the pool itself is really just a small rectangular concrete-lined hole...

In process of being restored. Comfortable bedrooms wirh ensuites, meal options or self catering, backbackers get great deal and your groups would alos. Traditional real thermal hot pool available. This hotel is on the market and visionaries or investors with a bit of money and a dream could make it real!

We stayed only one night, and found our host very friendly, and went out of his way to suit everyone. Good value, too! I hope they find someone else with the same attitude to buy their great spot,. Thanks for being part of our great road trip around the East Cape.

A classic country hotel that has been sympathetically restored. You won't find them on the Internet and if you just drive up it might look closed (the bar is often closed) but either phone ahead or go in. Rooms are large very clean and our ensuite had a bath! The bed was large and comfy. Being right by the road...

Stayed here a single night, sadly brefit of people (just two other guests). In a remote but beautiful corner of north island NZ. A very stylish hotel, immaculately clean, with comfortable beds and all at a very reasonable rate. A pity that the very amenable hosts are about to retire. If you read this then all the best for the...

On the 4/3/15 11 of us motorbikers stayed at The TePuia Springs Hotel and had a wonderful time. Knox is in the process of renovating this lovely hotel. Our rooms were really lovely with excellent facilities and linen. The hot springs pool was the first stopoff after booking in. Absolutely bliss. Knox and his wife were the perfect hosts providing...

Stayed for 2 nights and were pleasantly surprised with the place. From the warm welcome to the food, did I mention the food, excellent home cooked dinners at a very reasonable rate. Don't rush past this place on your tour of the East Cape.
