This was our last stay having spent just over five weeks touring both the South and North Island. It was a perfect end to our trip. Marlene and Tony were the perfect hosts and their hospitality went above and beyond. Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. We were able to relax in both the lounge and pretty garden. The breakfast spread was wonderful as was the availability of drinks, snacks and Easter chocolates. We were sad to leave and can wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Eden Park b and b.

The Eden Park is brilliant. we stayed with our travelling companions and we each had comfortable, spacious, beautifully decorated rooms with a large ensuite. there is a large and very well furnished guest lounge with a huge new TV, and a small but delightful private garden that is a veritable sun trap. the host and hostess and are just lovely, the breakfasts very generous and there is wall to wall chocolate free to eat scattered around the house. easy parking in a quiet neighbourhood. Thoroughly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at Eden park B&B very much. Breakfast was a feast and we could help ourselves to cookies and chocs anytime we want! Our hosts were very kind and bed was very comfortable! We especially enjoyed the morning chats with fellow guests during breakfasts. Recommended! 👍👍👏👏

Eden Park B&B is outstanding accommodation. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and well appointed. Spotlessly clean, plenty of towels and an abundance of hot water. Marlene and Tony are the hosts and they go the extra mile to provide all their guests need. They provide local area guidance on activities and venues to visit or eat. They will also lend guests public transport passes that are pre-loaded with funds that you can use and then top up prior to your departure which we found very useful. They don’t have tea/coffee in the rooms but instead have a “beverage station” in the main hall that is well stocked with the standard needs plus chocolates (lots!), sweet meats and biscuits, and at a reasonable cost additional alcoholic or soft drinks. Breakfast is a 5-star spread with your personal meal being prepared to order by Marlene. This is a great location and I would certainly recommend to friends and family.…

Undoubtedly an ideal location for the first (or last) few days of a visit to New Zealand; the airport is a short journey away. Our comfortable room did not have an en-suite but the private bathroom was large, well appointed and just a few paces away. Breakfast could not have been better. There was plenty of fresh fruit, yoghurt, a range of cereals and eggs however you wanted. Marlene is an excellent host, providing not just a warm welcome but plenty of advice on public transport and where to find good food. Mount Eden “Village” with its mix of small shops and restaurants is within easy walking distance.

We went to the Ed Sheeran Concert at Eden park and what a location! So great not having to worry about trying to get transport back into the city with thousands of people. The house is just stunning, it really is as good as the pictures show, and the hosts...just amazing! So welcoming, we really are so well looked after. The breakfast was fantastic, scrambled eggs were delicious! I highly recommend it to everybody, just wow! What more can I say!

This was our first accommodation on a three week trip to New Zealand in January 2023 and it was never bettered. Marlene and Tony were superb hosts and the breakfasts were unforgettable. The rooms were so comfortable and showed an incredible amounts of attention to detail. Fabulous location with easy access to Auckland City centre. Would highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast as you first stopping point when visiting New Zealand.

So lucky to have found this gem, and had the most amazing 8 night stay. Marlene and Tony were the best hosts imaginable and the breakfasts were simply stunning. My room was perfect in every way as was all the facilities. I really felt at home and didn't want to leave. I can't recommend this B&B highly enough. I would love to come and stay again.

A delightful stay at Eden Park, a beautifully present Victorian Villa, and as you step inside, it is a place that has class and distinction. Your Host welcomes you warmly and shows you to your suite, I was very happy with the Blue Room, the most comfortable beds, super linen, and toiletries, every detail was thought of for the guest's total care. The breakfast presentation was a beautifully presented table with everything one could need, I chose fresh fruit salad, followed by scrambled eggs. Thank you so very much for looking after me so well, was up in Auckland for a 1-day conference and your place was perfect in every way. Cannot recommend enough this great find, as a place to stay in Auckland. Mt Eden is the perfect place with great shops and restaurants, plenty of free parking, and close to being in central Auckland quickly and conveniently…
