There is nothing hugely special about this place. It is reasonably priced, but I was a bit dubious at first that it was located behind a university hall of residence. The woman on reception was extremely helpful. The room was large, but could have done with a good clean. So nothing really to complain about, and on a budget, you...

Stayed here on a work trip with 2 colleagues. 2 bedroom apartment we requested one room to be made up as a twin, rather than queen. It was only when we arrived that we were told that the room was too small, and one of my colleagues was thus forced to sleep in a rollaway bed in the lounge room....

An appartment is always a good choice, especially in expensive Auckland. But this one was disappointing. One of our beds listed to the right, so it was a constant scramble to stay in bed. Although we had free wifi for our 2 night stay, it ceased to work after 24 hours. We complained toreception and they promised they'd send someone,...

Finding this hotel can be difficult. Just look out for the Unilodge sign on Whitaker Place and you are there. Easy check in process. Comfortable apartment style room that met my needs. Clean and nicely presented and the room felt quite spacious. Views blocked by new apartment block built in front of his building. Better than other apartment style hotels...

Having read the reviews shortly before our stay we were apprehensive , pleased to say that our stay was much better than anticipated. Whilst remembering that Auckland is the busiest city in New Zealand hotels there come at a premium. It is situated in the university area, but that wasn't a problem. We walked every where we visited and it...

Basic, but not too bad. Don't expect too much though. Found this as last minute booking due to incorrect date in another booking. Hotel can be hard to find as driveway entrance somewhat obscure. Limited parking available for first come first serve, but had to pay extra if want to secure your own spot. Location close to city, about 10-15...

I have this title, as although I didn't mind this place, I also would not be in a rush to return. The location in my opinion is horrible, not really central and hard to access due to its position amoungst uni accommodation. If you are a student or young, then this would be perfect for you! Rooms were satisfactory, but...

The location is great and the staff are friendly and helpful. A lot of rooms for improvement such as Cracks on wall, leaking toilet need fixing, range hood is not working, no air conditioning, some rooms are equipped with a portable fan OR heater, bring your own rubbish to garbage room, WIFI and carpark are available at additional charge. Its...

The room was incredibly reasonable (+/- NZ$250 for 2 nights), and it was clean and in a great location (near the art gallery, K Road and Queen Street). It was a single room with a little kitchenette with 3 single beds. The middle single was lower than the other two (so no chance of pushing them together to make a...

The premises is very low standard. Rooms are more like a backpackers standard, and do not remotely represent the pictures that are advertised. Facilities in the rooms are basic, in poor condition, and look as though they have never been cleaned. The rooms are pretty much just bad. After the first night, we were moved because of the original room...
