Generally really nice. Rooms were clean when we got in and tidy etc. Staff very friendly and quick to get through the Kiwi experience load of us. Toilets a bit unclean but plenty of them! Good to meet other friendly travellers in room too
I have stayed at Nomads Auckland on three occasions. On all three occasions I felt the staff were helpful and the facilities acceptable. However, the last time I went the room was a mess. This was not the fault of the staff, rather clothes were...More
GREAT place for meeting new people. I spent 4 days here and was always talking to people and going places with people. The room and decor wasn't too exciting (in fact, the room smelled and the showers didn't feel super clean), but as far as...More
The hostel is quite old and worn down. We slept in a room with 8 people, and because the room was so tiny the beds were really close by each other, which meant that I couldn't even walk in between two beds with my backpack...More

I can't see the above question but I can tell you there is a shuttle from airport that takes you to the top of Queen St, you can then swap, for no extra charge, onto another bus to get you closer to the hostel. They're really nice and will tell you when to get off. They have left luggage but I'm unsure if there is a charge.

There are shuttles to the airport every 10 minutes at heaps of stops down Queen street, the bus stop will be labelled with airport express and the buses are blue. Cost is $16 one way and it takes you direct to the airport. If you are catching the shuttle from the airport into town the bus stop is just left of the exit door at the domestic arrivals terminal. Check in time is 2pm at the hostel but if you arrive early there is a place to keep your bags while you explore! Hope this helps!
