We stayed for a night. Room was clean, compact and had all we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful whenever we spoke to them. Location was very handy to where we were visiting and a good selection of restaurants close by. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Would recommend staying here short term and was good for the price, especially for...

Convenient for the SkyBus (from airport) and ferry terminal which is what I needed. The rooms are small and not much space for bags. The free wifi was not very good although I did manage to read emails. I was in a room facing the street and its quite noisy overnight. Suitable for one night but not for a longer...

This is a budget Hotel,we opted for a compact room, and that's exactly what we got,we stayed 3 nights, after coming back to NZ from Samoa, and as we wanted to catch up with family, the room size didn't matter,as it was only a place to sleep, room very clean, had a shower, toilet, wash basin.could make tea or coffee, ironing board and iron,TV,room is serviced each day,you get...

This is a budget hotel. The location was fantastic for us being only minutes from Sky City. The hotel was clean and tidy, the rooms are very small, the bathroom and shower are interesting. We did not spend any real time in the room other than for sleeping so it was fine. The common areas were fine and the breakfast...

the location is great! the staff was very nice. my mom and her boyfriend stayed in another room, they werent happy. they said it was very noisy and the bathroom was not great. i had a 'nice' bathroom (nicer than theirs) and my room was very quiet. so i guess it depends where you are. the location though was amazing!...

Does what it says on the tin. A basic place to stay, room was small but clean with bathroom/shower, fresh towels and soap, tea, coffee etc. 250mb of fee internet in the room. Room facing the road was slightly noisy but not a big problem. Unbeatable location and good value for the price, no complaints.

I stayed here for 4 nights, the room was clean but small - and I deliberately didn't book the 'compact' room because of the reviews! Two people would struggle in a room of this size, luckily I was a solo traveller on this occasion and only stayed four nights. The hotel is centrally located, and the staff were pleasant enough.

Went to Auckland to see my nephew in a show and spent one night there. Got a good rte on a room at the Econolodge in downtown Auckland, Easy check in, pretty Art Deco design which I think is original. The room was clean, and the bed was wonderfully soft and comfortable. I will say though, that the room was...

Although this is a more affordable option in a good location, we did not enjoy our experience at all. Walls are paper thin and we could hear everyone in the hallway, the laundry, a horrible screeching sound (not sure what it was, but it was regular), and more. We were also given a handicap accessible room, which meant the shower...

I had the unfortunate experience of being booked into this place by one of our administration people. What a disaster the decor reminded me of Milford sound from 30 years ago. the rooms were tiny with just about enough room to walk around the outside of the bet. I have stayed in some prety awfull places but this one takes...
