My friends and i always choose Jucy snooze when coming up for concerts. This place has a great location and wonderful friendly service. The rooms and communal living room is always tidy. If you are staying longer than 2 nights i recommend upgrading to the rooms with showers as the communal ones are abit off putting.

Stayed in a double room with en-suite. Meet and greet great: Friendly, clear and capable. Quiet room. Didn't hear neighbors although hotel apparently full. Decor quirky and fun. Room, bed, bathroom all clean. Wall scuffed in a couple of places but that's normal when luggage is being ferried about. Great location away from pub noise (central Auckland has a big...

Stayed for one night, no value for money. Our room G08 on ground floor smelled like a public toilet, maybe because you cant open the windows... speaking of windows: the just have single glass, thus the main road behind the house is heard perfectly. You think the bed actually is on the street. The cleanliness is not perfect either, stains...

Stayed in a room with own bathroom. Really spacious. Good location just out of the city center so not to much noise and easy walk to parks, art gallery, town. Pretty tidy, bright colour scheme. Een had a TV in the room which I was not expecting in a backpackers.

We booked a room at Jucy Snooze 20 minutes before arriving and were pleasantly surprised by the price as we were prepared to pay far more for such a late booking. The hostel was clean and in a great, central location. Staff were very helpful. Would stay again!

The location of Jucy is great with all Auckland's main areas (Queen st, the harbour) being a short walk away. The shared bathrooms were fine but the private room itself got quite hot given it didn't have a fan or a fly-screen on the window. Would happily bump the review to 5/5 if this was rectified. We were also able...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Jucy Snooze in Auckland in April 2016 (It's taken me ages to finally write a review!). We originally planned to be there for 3 days and ended up staying for 3 weeks! It was never a problem to extend our room and the staff were amazing and always happy to help. Nothing was ever...

Jucy is great for the basics, double bed and bathroom wheelchair accessible (only some rooms). The last time we stayed I'd told them I was in a wheelchair and we were put in a wheelchair accessible room BUT up a few flight of stairs and there's no lift, thankfully I could be carried up by my partner. They couldn't switch...

The room was clean, but worn and musty. The double was very sparsely furnished, so your stuff goes on the floor. You get what you pay for. Small bathrooms, central social areas, and a coffee stand. Internet only near the front desk. Conveniently located for the Britomart area.
