Staff that deserve a mention are Maria at breakfast, Jimmy and David on the concierge and Satash at dinner. The hotel is a beautifully converted from an old store that used to be at the heart of Auckland. The...

We had wanted to go back to the Heritage for a few years because the bed we tried the first time was out of this world. We werent to be disappointed this time. The bed was heavenly and you could also get a pillow menu which we tried and found very nice. We had a suite with a King size...

Looks a little dated from the outside, but appearances can be deceptive as the interior proves. Our room overlooked the quadrangle inside which is the dining area, most unusual! Even so there was no noise to disturb us fro diners in the evening or morning. Good continental breakfast in the morning.

We stayed for four nights in a one bedroom suite on the twelfth floor in the Tower Wing with a glorious harbour view. The suite was well laid and very comfortable. Valet parking is expensive. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately wasn't the best experience, when we arrived they couldn't find our booking, we were checking in with friends and their room booked at the same time was available. After a while they decided they had a room for us but we wouldn't be on the same floor as our friends, when we said we weren't happy with that they...
