Don't be put off by the lobby when you arrive. My heart sank- HOWEVER when we got to our apartment it's great. Everything you need. Huge comfy bed with crisp white linen. It's close to a couple of small food shops and a liquor store. The shops and restaurants are five minutes walk away. We had a meal in the... More

we were grateful to receive an upgrade to a two bedroom apartment for our short stay. The upgraded room was very comfy, nice and clean and spacious. The front office staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was only a short walk to the restaurants and waterfront. We would stay here again!

We were upgraded to a larger room with a 'better view'. Turns out the view was of the building next door...however the room itself was sizeable, clean and tidy, no noise from the street and the wifi was really good. The lounge was ancient, uncomfortable and smelled really bad. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. There is a... More

One night stay as we had a function to attend down on the water front. Booked a one bedroom apartment, plus car parking. The car park was at the Britomart car park. Parked there first, take a paper entry ticket then proceed to the upper levels to find the non reserved car parks (level 5 from memory). Reception will issue... More

Stayed three nights in a one-bedroom apartment. The reception area looks a little 'tired' but the rest of the place is seems well-maintained. Very clean, everything I needed, close to main attractions (walking distance) and transport for locations further afield. The big balcony was also very appealing - would have been even better in summer. Could easily have moved in... More

After spending 4 days travelling and living out of a motorhome, this hotel was a welcome relief! Stayed 2 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment in the middle of the city, views were ok, however the wharf/harbour was slightly obstructed by construction. Great service, accommodation had all the requirements we needed and not bad price for being in the city.... More

The supposedly "rustic" look of the lobby didnt give one a good feel on the cleanliness of the place. First impression was confirmed upon arriving in the apartment. There were stains on the carpet and the sofa(dirty with stains) has definitely seen better days. There were pinholes and stains on the blackout curtains. One can see foot prints on the... More

Maybe it's because I had just spend 5 consecutive nights in a dirty hostel, but this hotel was incredible. Sweet front desk staff, very clean & spacious rooms, and surprisingly quiet. Possibly the comfiest bed I've ever stayed in! Nothing beats the central location's access to bakeries & restaurants. I was grateful to get late checkout, too. The only thing... More

Comfy beds, large lounge with nice settee, everything was clean and tidy, and modern facilities. We had a queen bed in the main bedroom even though there was plenty of room for a king bed, which would have been much more preferable as queen beds are small for 2 people, and a split king as 2 singles in the second... The room was lovely we stayed in a two bedroom apartment with one bathroom which was fine for the three of us. Beware that the parking was an option at check in with only 12 spaces and very hard to manoeuvre around. It also cost us $25 for the privilege so if you hire a car keep that in mind.... More
