Well I had a fab 2 weeks here , staff in hotel friendly and helpful. Room very clean outstanding view from room . NZDF and the Army were also great they helped with walks and questions about leaving quarantine always happy to help . I had plenty of books and wifi was great as well . Plenty of TV channels to chose from . I used Uber eats a couple of times . Food was fine I’m not sure about any specific requests so I cannot comment but I did get a plain omelette when I asked . The outdoor exercise place is rather small compared to other hotels but was fine at 4 am . This is well run and managed quarantine facility and NZ is doing well 😀

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times and as a Bonvoy Ambassador am generally looked after very well. My stay this time was scheduled for three weeks but could be extended to seven or even longer because of the lockdown. I just wanted to say that the staff have been friendly, helpful and professional. They are doing everything they can to make my time here as pleasant as possible. It has a difficult time for Staff and guests but the staff have been excellent. Well done!!

The upstairs bar and lobby level restaurant were both slow and made mistakes. The most frustrating were false charges for beers that we saw on our check out bill. I stood there at the lobby check out for over 20 minutes watching them go through EVERY receipt from the night before at the rooftop bar. They could not find receipts because I knew I had not made the purchases. Finally, instead of believing me, they began again to go through a stack of receipts desperately searching for a charge that we not there. Eventually my driver was there and I had to leave. They said they would call me....but of course never did. I left with them owing me $48. I'll never get it back.

The Four Points hotel is well situated for sight seeing purposes. The rooms are nicely appointed but small (European size). We found the staff to be less than professional. We returned at 4:00 pm and found our room had not been cleaned. It took a few calls and another hour before housekeeping came. No apologies. On another occasion we were approached by a hotel staff member who tried to sell us a city tour after we had stated we were going to book a Hop/on Off. Made us wonder if there was a kickback involved. We found the congierge did not have much knowledge of the area. Sent us the wrong way when we asked for directions. However, we will give kudos to the chef as the food in the hotel was excellent. We would not recommend staying in this hotel

We just got home after spending 8 nights at the Four Points Sheraton Auckland. We were well looked after while we waited to get a flight home during this unsettling time. The hotel was in a great location, rooms were modern and c comfortable but it's truly the staff that made the difference. It was a tense time waiting to see if flights were still going out. We literally camped out in the hotel with small outings to get fresh air. The staff was so friendly, helpful, professional and compassionate. The food at Queens Head Grill was top notch. We want to say thank you for making such a difficult time easier. The SkyBus to the Airport is literally outside their Queen Street exit. I will be back. If you get a chance to stay there, please be generous with your gratuities these people have taken a pay cut to keep more staff working.
