This is such a nice hostel! Super friendly staff, and nice common areas, it's clean and has a good atmosphere. The shower was a little cold, but I think it was just the one I used. Would stay here again! Also it's super close to Mt. Eden from where you can se all of Auckland!

Fantasic hostel, super awesome friendly staff that like to connect with guests, which was a nice suprise for a lone traveler such as myself. Home of the blokus world championship, (think tetris/chess) stayed here for a week and it's possibly the best part of being in auckland. Everything's spotlessly clean, rooms are nice, kitchens great, big deck, showers are powerful...

Been here for 3 nights. Lovely house with a "come in and feel home Charme" Had a double room, nice and clean but a little cold. Very friendly staff there! Catch a bus and within 15 min you are in the CBD.

We stayed here for three days and we enjoyed it a lot. Lovely place, the atmosphere is great. Very nice and helpful staff who made us feel instantly welcome here. It's close to the city (10 minutes by bus) and a supermarket is close as well. And there's free wifi... ;) only small downside, I was a little cold, however...

I landed in Auckland and stayed at Bamber House for six nights in a four person dorm. The room was tiny, but there are enough living/communal areas, and I barely spent any time in the room. The hostel is quite functional - a team of other backpackers work hard to keep it running smoothly and efficiently. It's not a party...

Good and friendly vibe. Good beds, good wifi, good kitchen, and very good people. This hostel seems to be a bit of a French attraction, but they're also all right. Also, the location couldn't be better, mount eden is lovely and a short bus ride away from the city. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone coming to Auckland
