Rangitikei Farmstay is a "must do kiwi experience" located halfway between Taupo and Wellington (North Island, New Zealand). The Farmstay is situated on a large sheep (3000) and cattle (300) farm which has been in the Stewart family since 1901. Situated only ten minutes off State Highway 1 &3, providing the ideal location for an authentic farm experience. We offer a range of accommodation options, sleeping 18 in total but only taking one group at a time. The restored Bunkhouse, East and West Huts, are all situated around our beautiful large gardens. The Bunkhouse is also a farm Museum which showcases agricultural history of farming in New Zealand. For overnight guests, free activities include a farm walk with mountain to sea views and feeding our large range of friendly animals. Enjoyed a fantastic afternoon with Kylie, Andrew and their daughters and of course Andrew's parents Diana and Hugh so three generations of the Stewart family. Wonderful hospitality learning what farm life is all about. At the top of the hill you could see forever!
